I think if you can see teens in his future then you probably shouldn’t use a trade to bring him in.

The Dolphins will crash back to earth. First game, suncorp, the Beetson thing, they were obviously up for it, but they won't be able to keep that intensity up IMO. Plus, Roosters were really bad.

Although with Hopgood and Carrigan presumably a pretty high scoring combo I could go for a cheapie like Ford to round it out

After one game, that's sideways mate.

Last year I held onto guns far too long, if I hold him and he serves up another horrid performance then I’ve lost almost 100k in two weeks

Carty you'd think will be impacted when Brown (this week) and Matto (next couple) comes back. No idea how many mins he gets - maybe he keeps playing 80. If you jump on him now though he earns you decent cash, but it'll come at the cost of two trades (to bring in and then to trade out).

Very few players won't require a trade out this season when you bring them in. Tohu the obvious exception this week. Plays 2 bye rounds, back to his consistent best.

I cringe every time I see this point made. Literally EVERY cash cow you are going to trade in requires two trades. That's their role you make cash, and then you sell them. And as Matt points out, even some guns are going to be traded out also. The fact that someone needs trading out again at some point, is not a reason to not buy them most of the time.

Go with your gut then mate. My advice for you this year is get advice from us if need be but trust your gut with your moves and don't be swayed.

My gut is larger than previous years so if I am going with my gut then I hope it involves some KFC attached

Are they doing vouchers again this year?

Cheers guys, yeah it’s a bit of a tough one. If he had scored 39 I’d be leaning more towards hold. If he cost me 570k I’d be leaning towards hold.

Will see how I feel about it all in the morning

I’m glad panthers are up first. If Soni and Kenny swap game day I think I’ll just put Luke in and hope for the best

It's clear HIA's are going to play a massive part this year. Already there are plenty of scores heavily impacted by them.

A few players I'm interested in but that potentially played more minutes than they otherwise would have...

Shaq - 45mins. Tatola played 1 minute & Arrow only played 22. I assume he won't play 45 each week.

    Nicholls 49mins. Wallace only 24mins.

Twal - 68mins. Blore played 16mins before Kepaoa came on. Did he play 2RF or was there a shuffle?
