KBrom really looks like a middle forward these days

Yeah - but if you traded them out they were worth $230k (not their hidden value).

It means that to do the trades I want, I have to trade Talau (whether he's fit or not) because I'd be 1k short based on AKP at $220k

Oh yeah of course. Shop requires some Reno then

A players background price can drop below $220k , but you'll never be able to buy/sell them for less than that

It can be annoying though. AKP's true price is around $211k. Even though his price on the site is listed at $220k, in order to go to $221k he has to make $10k, not $1k

FYI The BEs for myself and footystats don't take this into account, but the official BEs do

I think it's transferable across life in general. I purposely don't reveal my round one team in full prior to the season starting, not because it's full of crafty PODs (it's pretty cookie cutter) or I think people will 'steal my ideas' but just so that I don't receive any 'why no Garner?' feedback that may sway my thinking.

I want to have 100% ownership of my own terrible decisions Very Happy just like i'm sure most on here do.

Yep first thoughts here also, interesting at the least

Why did Null Null play so many minutes? Only saw the second half. HIA?

Only watched closely the first 30 (after was just background noise) so I don't know. But NULL came on at 30 and stayed on. Perhaps it was injury/HIAs - Wallace never returned - but there is always an injury/HIA, so I don't think it can be completely discounted. Perhaps it's also the unicorn 50+ minute bench EDG role until now thought to exclusively belong to rookie Bulldogs players talked up by Gus Gould on twitter?

It's definitely not a sexy option, but for a consistent 30-35 each week and the odd try... could be worse CTR options (almost all of them?)

Was one I was curious on but too hard to know what Raiders would do with pack.

The other of interest is.. can't believe it.. MCK. Average of 48 for the season!

I think I'll make two trades. Walsh will be one of them.. I think. Bird also curious.

Not a sexy option but definitely a pragmatic one if he can get the mins, I would take 30-35 in a heartbeat.

    Is Tonumaipea an option?

I know he got a try but his 2 games last year he went 42 35 (with a try a game)

    has a BE of 11.

probably wont be doing this (as likely keeping Smith) but

Smith Butcher to Robson Tonumaipea is something im considering and then sending Alamoti to the NPR

Don't know at this stage....no one is screaming 'trade me out' but.....even though I went into this week with base price centres, fully aware what this could mean, the reality is pretty stark and may need some consideration.

Both Olam and Seve to return, and one of them being fit forces Tonumaipea out of the squad since he is not top 30.

good call, I think im just clutching at straws for that centre spot.

Just short of Butcher to Bird so looking for interesting options.

If Talau is out injured might look at

    Butcher Talau to Bird AKP.

I know AKP was bad but 220k is all i can afford if doing the above.

Ffs, I'm 1k short of Butcher to Bird in a single trade.
Is it just me or does this happen more often than you would think possible?

Just having a look at Bird's stats at lock for the end of the 2022 season and to be fair they aren't that appealing. In the 6 games he played there he had 3 tries and 4 try assists, which I'd assume is unsustainable particularly in a team that has somehow gotten worse during the offseason.

Now not saying he's not a trade in, because who doesn't love a forward who is eligable for the centre position in fantasy but is it really that urgent of a trade in? (FWIW i've planned to get him this week for EButch)

Yeah I had a look when comparing him with Lemuelu, not sure he’s worth 600k at CTR.

Thinking I might just downgrade Tino and Butcher this week to a couple of useable cows
