    Benny Hunt said end of the season MBye told Hook and the team he wants to be a genuine 9. Sounds like he's been given the opportunity.

    I hope he plays there for extended minutes, I’d happily have him oop at ctr, the problem being his versatility makes him the go to to fill in when the inevitable HIa per game happens and they have liddle to spell him

    Fuck just what we needed... a number 9 that is centre eligible on fantasy for 300k.

    Downside is his name is Moses Mbye, but I'm here for it!

    Sloan has always been a FB. No idea what Bird's natural position actually is tbh - I think the evolving mobile lock role will suit though. And Mbye might work well as a converted half switching to hooker. I'm sure I've him referred to as "an extremely poor mans Craig Wing" before.

    You've got me with BMM though.

    What I was referring to was there seems to be a lot of 'makeshift' going on.

    I thought Sloan was a converted winger, he is one of the worst FB I have seen at this level.

    In fairness, I agree Bird could be a ball playing lock, Mbye might be okish, Sloan might come good, and BMM looked like a guy ready to get stuck in.

    One point that matt made was that Turpin coming on for a forward before Roosters started dropping means it's in the gameplan for Cheese and Turpin to share the field for at least some portion of the game (though i definitely do not think Turpin playing the game out is part of that gameplan, and its highly likely that he was the intended interchange for Cheese coming back from his rest before Lodge broke his face)

    let say that around 60 minutes in the middle is plan for Cheese, for games in any position which he plays 50-70 minutes, which i think is fair considering i would hazard a guess he's spent all of his time playing in the middle of the field, where he would be for both roles he seems to be designed to play currently - his average is 48.3, adjusting to remove 2021, because as i said, the more fantasy data past that season appears, the more i believe it was an outlier season and should not be considered for expected averages, it drops down to 43.6.
