At least trades look fairly straight forward at first glance.GarethEllisismyDad wrote:

Didn't realise Butcher got 44, a bad week and hit his BE still.
Yeah, agree. As soon as I trade him out he will get a try and 70 though.Chewie wrote:
EButcher may be on the chopping block this week, too many options with similar potential at nearly half the price tag

Unless one of my four players tomorrow gets injured, I am seriously considering just getting Teague in and hoping he can stay in the team, as I already have most of the guys that people will be wanting to buy next week (Preston, IKat, Hammer, Walsh, Bird etc.) and only really have Talau and Egan Butcher as sell candidates (even they may not be worth selling tbf).
Teague seems like he's going to explode eventually, it's just a matter of time, much like Preston this year and Hopgood last year.

If Talau bombs tomorrow and you have CTR/WFB cover it wouldn't be the worst move at all. That said, the way Stone's been mentioned in the off-season, you'd have to assume that for 2023, Teague is the back up option for injuries. Which isn't to say he won't get decent minutes throughout the year. Like I say, not a bad acquisition if everything else aligns. And who knows... Bennett is obviously no muppet. Maybe he finds a place for Teague anyway...

As long as it's not long term, you probably should. With best will in the world, you're probably not used to your team all scoring well, but when it does it's a great opportunity to bank trades rather than chasing a shiny thing.

Thanks for the advice, I am tempted to only trade Butcher this week, but could fix up my WFBs and CTRs, have $307k available to do it, without trading NAS, by getting rid of someone like Talau or HSS for the Hammer. Would leave me with a back 5 of:
HTF Alamoti
Ponga Walsh Miller
The rest of my team is pretty stacked for now (currently relying on Trindall and Carty though).
NAS will be my only out next week, (no Panthers) and only have 1 other Rooster in the team if I trade Butcher, then 1 Titan the following week.
If that NAS shows up every couple of weeks, no reason he can't average 60 this season. Should have hit 75 this week, after a 53 doing nothing last week.

Perham 43
Burton 36

So just in addition to my post earlier, you're reading it like I am? That if you fail a HIA this week, there's 0 chance you're suiting up next week?

No there is a chance. Still have the 6 day concussion protocol. Radley and Blore both just failed it.
There was pre season talk of a mandatory 11 days. Seems inevitable. Sensible thing would be from NRL season but knowing NRL they’ll introduce it randomly midseason. Magic round, perhaps.
