    A+ 100% agree.

Shaky Munster, no Hughes, Pezet playing...a lot of attack could go through Grant.

I agree with all your reasoning, I think you would be OK with any of them. My order of preference is Perham/Sloan/CNK, but Sloan wins based on $ making.

Curious what's your preference for Sloan over CNK, aside from $ making?

Looked pretty good when he came on at the end vs the bulldogs, sparked 2 tries. Although the Tigers suck he will have classier players around him than he did at the dogs. Maybe playing with Api and IPap/Bateman can unlock his potential.
Last year he played the Storm in Round 4 and had JMK, TPJ and Waddell around him instead of the 3 mentioned above and scored 38. That was also next to Burton who did majority of the kicking

They were thumped 44-0 too so doesn’t necessarily need to be in a side going well i guess

I need a game to see what his base is an that role at Tigers and see if more shenanigans next week with Doueihi and team list

Actually no Grant has been killing me and with only Boyd the sooner I fix HOK the better and worry about Rd 13 players later

I could do AD + Ebut to

    Grant + Wakeham + 209k
    SJ + Lemuele + 367k

EDIT: probably do Grant + Lemuele + 116k

I think Wakeham worth risk for getting Grant and can get Lemuele next week

I actually can afford Lemuele and have Boyd at half so would have to fix half next week. I might go with that instead

I’m putting money on Cleary to score a try and a double so there’s no chance of either happening. Just a warning to captainers

Any thoughts on the best way to use my second trade? Currently running this lot with 374k in the bank.

    Hodgson
    Carrigan, Tino, Welch
    Katoa, Carty
    Cleary, Boyd
    Lemmy, Alamoti
    Miller, Perham, Warbrick

    Hopgood, Preston, Uto, Butcher
    Loiero, Sutton, HSS, Trindall

Warbrick seems to be the weak spot but would probably prefer to wait for Teddy next week as a proven gun for pretty cheap. So improving HLF or HOK seems the way to go?

Have Cleary, Cook, Murray, Hass and Tapine.

Tempted to give Cooky another go as skipper but have gut feeling Tapine may explode this weekend - due a big game.

Whos everyone captaining? Guessing most will be on Haas?

Maybe Hodgson to a HLF, move Boyd to HOK. Or just upgrade Hodgson to a HOK

I look at this list and feel like I'm 1 or 2 guns short of a decent team.

Unless you want Turbo this week or unsure about what half you can save the trade to next week

Sure you can stack your 13 but if your bench is scoring poor then overall it will drag you down
And relying on all those points of say the 13 gun players then an hia or injury to one and now you feel the pain more too

With all the constant byes I feel you are going to need a playable pool of players
Perhaps a DPP player with good byes (Gilbert) is worth more than a much more expensive origin player long term

I feel it’s easy to see the big shiny new player coming off a large score and spend the kitty
Saying that the Turbos and Tedescos throw that theory all out the window often

On another note probably can’t rely on the byes to make huge inroads like previous years so going to have to be smart and make gradual moves weekly

I've been thinking about it, and I know everyone already has him, but that's why I'm bringing in E Katoa. Still value and good enough for bench all year hopefully.

Started with a gun heavy side. Was lucky to not start with Doueihi and Teddy who were in my drafts most off pre season. Team does has it's floors though with no HOK or WFB cover - looking at fixing that up in the comings weeks with Teddy and Brailey hopefully - Injury dependent.

    Team currently is:

    Cook
    Murray Haas Tapine
    Katoa Preston
    Cleary Johnson
    Bird Alamoti
    Perham Miller Warbrick

    Hopgood Carty Keppie Ford
    HSS Katoa Trindall BMM
