Yeah agree 100% on the last point

I can't be arsed to do the maths, and MTBs 3 game average doesn't like negatives, but I reckon 14000ish gets yo a -6 BE for Hoskings. And I'd be surprised if the MN has been that high for awhile.

I think it was 12900 last week. I always defer to the cow here because i get a bit confused by it all, and just try to implement whatever the Cow says.

Worst case is it two trades? Eg if you trade Sutton out to Hosking then Hosking out to a Sutton like player a week later, that’s possibly two trades vs the do nothing scenario.

Having said that, I’m on the Hosking train (already have Ford). A lot of upside possibilities for the risk.

Cmon dude, be better. You asked the same question a few days ago and got a resounding "yes". I'm surprised people gave you feedback as it seems that you make 1 post a week to provide us your team and your trade plans, then disappear for the week. Should we consider ourselves lucky this week to get a second post, of which you wouldn'tve needed if you took the time to actually read the feedback that people put their time and effort into for you.

We're all here to help each other, you're a great fantasy player and could help lots of people if you put some effort in as well.. nobody likes someone that just takes from the table.

    Agree with this 100%

And I hope people don't think I do the same - As sometimes I go MIA for the week (But still reading every post) then Thursday it's like "Hey guys what should I do!?"

I'm here for every match, I read every post, post somewhat frequently - I feel like I don't really have much to add/what I want to say has already been said lol

And just on Hosking, I think it's worth it for sure

Quick cash grab as the worse case scenario - but I'm someone who loves to roll the dice (In fantasy)

I've got to bring in a half this week, so it's between those 2 for the other trade.

Miller looking must have, great bye schedule (plays both 13 and 16), where almost all the guys that can match his scoring are playing Origin - Teddy, Turbo, Mitchell, probably Walsh.

EDG has lots of guys that can get you 50ish per week that don't play Origin.

Kicks goals, lots of TBs every week, big running meters, and with Ponga missing, is running the Knights attack, getting TAs and tries.

If you don't get Miller now, you will need him by round 13 at a much higher price point.

If you were going to trade Sutton out anyway, then its only 1 more trade (and with a likely cash upside too)

    Sutton - Hosking - Frizell = 2 trades
    Sutton - Frizell - 1 trade

Is everyone else burning through trades ? Ive max traded so far which is not my norm. Doesnt appear to be slowing down any time soon with Hynes or Cleary someone I need to get soon.

If the hosking trade works out half as well as last years talakai train then I’ll be very happy

(Admittedly Matt convinced me to get on him at first opportunity, made 300k and got the 100 pointer etc)

Some of you have teams that get me thinking I’ll never catch up, great work on choosing well

I think matt was just making a comment on NSW's tendency to pick random players out of position every year, rather than making a genuine origin prediction

Turbo and Mitchell are the CTRs at full strength, Wighton doesnt get a look in if both available.

I normally max trade the first few weeks, its the best time to get on the years best cows, and this year we've got more trades too

(Plus I also have to fix up the mistakes I made in the first 2 week's trades)

Yep, people tend to take me very literally - like Kiraz getting an Origin spot with leading Dally M. I am often just making a throw away comment like this.

Yeah Talakai was a great buy at $400k when we got on last year.

You'd have to think full strength NSW backline will lineup as:

    1. Teddy
    2. To'o
    3. Mitchell
    4. TommyT
    5. Ado-Car/Suaali'i
    6. Hynes
    7. Cleary
    14. Wighton

Banked 1 last week (though probably would have used it if I set up my team right), probably going to bank another this week (unless I weirdly trade in AKP on bye as mentioned this morning)

Didn't trade after rd1, so have saved 2 trades.

Got Doorey, Trindall, Carty, Warbrick, AKP and HSS that are going to need trading out soon so can't see myself saving too many more in the near future (Though HSS could end up just sitting there at 21 as CTR cover until he's dropped).
