Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
When I get a bit of time I'll do a proper write up on how BEs and price changes work and post it in the sticky thread.
Until then - as others have said not all players priced at $165k are equal.
A BE is basically the difference between someone's price, and their recent average (weighted so that more recent games are worth more)
So someone at $165k who is scoring 30-40 points a round, will have a low BE, and their price is going up.
Someone at $165k averaging 15 points a round will have a BE, and their price is going down.
I will do my best to explain all some point later today

With the leagues new biggest ball hog moving to FB it will allow me to start him and trade out Gordon (probably for Dogs centre) and use the cash to make an upgrade of Leulua to a 2nd rower who can play as a reserve and maybe hold Peats. Come Thursday next week i might change my mind and just trade Peats to Garvey and use cash on same 2nd row upgrade.

Latrell Mitchell yesterday. He just doesnt pass, made himself look good a couple of times and was great for Fantasy but i reckon it cost the Roosters 2-3 tries yesterday

Saw this article on NRL.com http://www.nrl.com/boyds-mission-to-get-the-jet-involved/tabid/10874/newsid/93739/default.aspx
I'm hopeful I mean somehow even though he's been doing next to nothing he only got 4 less points than Jack Reed on Friday who made a line break and scored a try so even a couple extra runs will get him into 30's at the least.

Although that could mean he will be coming back just in time for Origin period which is good for non-owners of Peats.
Im holding and praying for this at the moment. "Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah suffered a similar injury in 2014 and was expected to spend six weeks on the sidelines but returned after missing three matches."
Was that his injury just before Origin that time?

Good stuff Milchy.
I used to be into the price change formula a few years ago, but I could NEVER work out how to calculate the new magic number each week, so I gave up trying.
Once my old mate Teetotaler took over from arsendragon doing the BE's/price changes back in 2011, there wasn't any need to bother.
