Well watching that game thought Woods and JTurbo scored a lot better than what they both finished on? Surely some hefty updates In order

That's who I'm looking at instead of Tedesco. Word is Tedesco will play origin & after tonights game he'll be over 500k.

Slater is contracted till end of next year. Too early to say he will give it up this year?

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
Still early in the season so time to repair my team...It's these next few weeks that sort out the one hit wonder teams from the decent coaches.
Though not going to lie, it's a mission to finish well when starting the season placed over 30k, but will do what i can to work my way up.
Anyways I have a work mate that wanted to make a team this year.
I picked a few cheapies that everyone started the season with, then let him click auto pick to complete his team.
He scored 784 this week (captain Friend)
Guessing the girlfriends/wives may have done well this week based on this info haha

oh god somebody talk me out of trading Merrin for Taupau. I had just decided to wait another week. But an 80 minute Taupau on the edge... Merrin was already on notice.

what a shambles, just when I think I've got a plan, 2 more guns misfire, i know you're not supposed to trade guns bar injury, but I feel like i gotta try something different, blow my team up & come at this from a different angle: Woods -> Lawrence, DCE -> Norman, which should net me enough to start bringing in the Grahams & Surgess' of the world the week after.
though this all might be an overreaction to the shit DCE & Woods served me tonight and i'll have a clearer head & a better idea of what I actually should do come tomorrow morning.

I'm not too concerned with Merrin chances are his price will come back to where it was by the end of the year. I think he'll still be a top scoring 2nd rower like his run metres are very impressive. I think he'll have a few big games again soon. But high 40's average isn't the worst. I know its not what you paid for but it could be a lot worse

I don't think I've ever had a worse start to a fantasy season.
My last trades pre lock out were Tedesco and Carter out for Mansour and LAM in.
Absolutely killing me.
And with Seggy and Lichaa, and now Peats I haven't had a chance to improve my team except for fixing up injuries.
Currently at around 16k and not sure how much I'll be able to improve.

Ditto here Milch
Ffs... Fensom, Feeney, Green all in my run on side sees me return a bye-round like score

Mullayo wrote:Scoring is crap. CLaw and Woods had great games yet get FA points it's p*ssing me off. Scores are way too low. Woods made about 60 not 27 tackles as did Taupau. Woods should be in the high 60s.
Cartwright is another one getting ripped off. JTurbo earned more than 47 as well that was a 60+.
Got the right players just not the right scoring
Trying to judge a players fantasy score by watching them play is fraught with danger. People watching games are notoriously poor judges of picking fantasy scores.
Fantasy scores have only a loose relationship with how well someone has played. And to get the big big scores you need a monster play with a few tackle busts in it. 2 big runs can make any mediocre performance look awesome from a fantasy point of view.

I was stupidly close to doing so, but went back and looked at last years performances, varied scores and minutes seems to be his thing it apparently.Mighty Fishes wrote:I hope no one brought in Peni Teripo after last weeks efforts
