no way cotter doesnt make origin in my opinion, he was one of QLds best last year,
why would Billy not bring him back,
Agree it is very congested for middle forwards,
that doesnt mean hes not a buy now btw, think he scores well in next few weeks
I kinda feel the same way.
But Carrigan was player of the series, Cotter only played the one game, so it seems like one of Collins. Papa, Tino or Welch have to miss out & I'm not sure which would (all have more history with QLD), And Queensland more likely to stick with an old war horse like Papa?
Grabbing Cotter certainly would have it's risks

I’d happily make a forum bet on cotter being selected game 1 if fit. Same with Ponga

I agree that there's no way Cotter doesn't make the team.

Imo the first three forwards they pick are Carrigan, Welch, Cotter.

I'd have Tino, Carrigan, Cotter as certainties based on their play for QLD last season, the rest are fighting it out. Papa was hardly used, maybe has played his last game for QLD.

im acting under the assumption Josh will be squeezed out
he player 22, 26 and 33 mins last year, it would obviously send ripples around the NRL media, but i think all the other middles offer more

is anyone considering him? why have they named him?
I reckon just smoke and mirrors to keep the spotlight off the young bloke through the week and then they end up playing him come game day. We'll see how the cuts go I guess.

Community team votes
Voting appreciated - have less than 24 hours until lockout so hopefully there is trade consensus

Why are you trading CNK out? I’m looking to bring him in when he comes back
