He's not top 30 so can't play this week with players back (i've read). Can be selected from next round onwards.

Turpin back on the bench is not good for Smith's minutes this week (not surprising he'll have lower minutes with the neck injury concern).

I am tempted by Luki but would have to move on Preston or Hosking who I think both will outscore him, although they'll also both likely be loosing large amounts of cash while Luki should be making good cash if he gets the minutes.

It's not good but I think there's a nonzero chance that Hutchison moves to 14 and Billy Smith comes in at centre in final teams.

Either way, I'll give Cheese the benefit of the doubt this week, but if Turpin is still in the team next week I'm getting rid of Cheese yet again.

Admittedly haven't watched much NRL recently (1 game in 5 rounds) for reasons, and it's great to pop in and read some really good analysis from great players. Have been an ultra lurker this year but haven't missed many pages - just no insight to offer recently due to not watching games. Particular shoutout to Rhino and Contrastinghobby (suppose he has a clue  Rolling Laugh ). Thank you.

Cheers for the shoutout for my low effort posting, will keep it up Basketball

Turpin, like whoever else is at 14 or like Radley if there's no hooker on the bench, is only there to give Cheese a breather for however long he absolutely needs it (probably between 10 and 20 minutes unless his neck is fucked). They're not going to *voluntarily* give Turpin more time because of the quality of his play, it makes absolutely no difference to Cheese.

Not sure what I'm doing this week, I guess just Sloan -> Bula and leave it at that.

Wouldn't mind a bit of NAS but there's no one that makes sense to trade out for him, same for Horse. Saving a couple trades would not be the worst thing in the world.

They were playing Cheese in the middle when Turpin was in the team earlier in the year (Turpin played 63 and 54 minutes in round 1-2), which absolutely ruins him.

That said I don't think they'll do it again given they now have all their middles back

I wouldn't be trading Sloan just yet but if he's the only guy you can sell for Bula, then that's fine.

He hasn't had two bad scores in a row yet this year (scored 52 after a 27 and then 50 after an Cool, and is very capable of racking up huge amounts of junk in a short amount of time.

Wouldn't surprise me if Ikat gets a rest at some stage like Ilias did last year.

They have the bye next week, doubt they'd rest him now given that he'll get a rest then.

I've had enough of him haha. I played him for his 8 and 18 and benched him for all but one of his good scores.

But yeah he could definitely be held, he is really the only obvious one that could make way for Bula for me. Unless Milf comes in for Niko pre-game then I'll ditch him but this seems unlikely.

How long is Brimson out for this time? Or will they rush him back too soon again?

I read that it was Brimson's other hammy that he injured this time. It's obvious they rushed him back. I think Campbell should be starting even when Brimson is back. They look better with Campbell at fullback

    Yeah it was.

Seen some talk that they need to find a spot for Campbell in the team (beyond bench role) but Brimson is a pretty handy fullback when fit. The halves experiment failed last year and they have Foran now, just can't see Brimson being flat out dropped which seems to be what is required for Campbell to get the spot.

Is anyone else bringing in both NAS & Horse?

Kinda nervous about it as I don't know if they both can become keeper level but I suppose they are good buys at the moment.

Edit: mainly concerned around their mins/role, like can NAS keep producing big minutes aswell as Horse?

Think I’m sticking with Warbrick to Bula this week. Want to flick Alamoti but need him to line up next week with Lemmy on the bye.

Milford can piss right off too
