There’s no way a coach in his first series, and first series decider, is picking a guy from reserve grade. This isn’t Qld legend and future immortal Artie Beetson. It’s not Paul Vautin having pretty much no one to choose due to super league. It’s Hopgood, who had last played NRL in R3 and couldn’t even make the origin depleted Panthers team. Yeah it’s a great system and squad and he’d have been in first grade for loads of other teams, but still not happening.

As someone who ruptured his left nut last year and had an operation to save it.

    Would not recommend gambling it.

Junior Tatola has posted on instagram tonight his dad has passed away. I guess that could place him in some doubt.

Decided to start a Team Tracker to avoid cluttering the main thread with what seem as subtle brags (they are) about how my team is travelling. Think I've added the button to my profile but may be wrong lol.

In his last two games Cleary has scored 63 and 65.

In those two games, Crichton kicked 3 and 2 goals respectively.

Cleary has been robbed of a 69 two games in a row.

    Not nice.

Was just looking at WFB options for round 13 and it is the absolute pits.

    Miller
    Gutho
    Drinky
    Walsh
    Hammer

are maybe the only 5 I would even remotely consider.

Garrick a big maybe, but contingent on Manly actually showing signs of life.

Not that I'll be going there, but Marzhew should be added to that list. Savage if he moves to fullback. Isaako if you're feeling particularly fruity.

Yeah I'm probably adding Drinkwater this week, but not enthused about it. Might go Teddy to Walsh Rd 13 if missing origin for a Walsh, Drink, Miller combo.

CNK, Savage and Kris were others I was looking at. Was anticipating Savage FB and Kris CTR with Croker dropping out, but Savage to wing probably makes the most sense for now. I was more interested in Kris when he was 400k too, now up to 460k.

Yeah if Walsh plays origin would probably move him to CNK or maybe Drink come rd 13. Otherwise thinking I'll just have Walsh and Miller only for rd13

Speaking of R13, best captaincy options was posted a few weeks ago, do we think it’s changed much

IMO top 3 are probably SJ, Matterson (Hopgood if Matto Origin), Moses

Think Robson has dropped out of captaincy contention for me, but other MIDs/Frizell possible options

Seriously thinking about Dylan Brown. I missed SJ so I'm looking at round 13 numbers and could be a cut price keeper or ride the byes then flick to Hynes post Origin. Hopefully he gets a roll on after last week.
