If I didn’t have Cleary/Hynes/SJ I would definitely be looking at Brown. 40s doing nothing and then a boom game every now and again. Hopefully gets on a roll as you saywolfking wrote:Seriously thinking about Dylan Brown. I missed SJ so I'm looking at round 13 numbers and could be a cut price keeper or ride the byes then flick to Hynes post Origin. Hopefully he gets a roll on after last week.

Really keen on Luki despite the red flags. Scores very well when he gets the chance to

Wonder if Crossland starts again next week (and for a few more weeks after that).
Looking an absolute dud trade-in at the moment (he will play big mins!!! lol), broke the team rule by bringing him in (shit player), but he does play round 13, may be worth hanging around until then.
He could also be out of the side entirely by then.

Updated my team tracker if anyone is bored shitless and wants to take a geez.
These are my 3 options for this week if anyone wants to offer their opinion, much appreciated.
Option 1:
Couchman & Alamoti to Tatola & Luki.
Two upgrades, improves my squads depth. Two value picks, however they both have injury risk.
Option 2:
Couchman, Alamoti & Haas to Tatola, Olapu & Hynes.
Selling Haas just feels wrong HOWEVER, as a strictly H2H player who is leading both of my cash leagues, Haas misses the H2H preliminary final so he would be a sell at that point. And I am confident I can make the top 4 without him.
Option 3:
Couchman, Alamoti & Preston to Tatola, Olapu & Fifita.

Yeah Luki has peaked my interest, a Preston to Luki trade is on the cards pre round 13. I'll probably give it a week or 2 before pulling the trigger., negating the re-injury risk

I'm really keen on him too. Was thinking about it this week, but I think it won't hurt to make sure he gets through a full game. He has had a few injuries in the past.

Couldn't disagree more. I think Campbell is way overhyped based on his last name and not much else. They made a huge mistake getting rid of Fog to free up a spot for Campbell in the spine and Brimson at 6 last year.
I think Preston would still do a better job at fullback than Jayden.

I'll be trading him to Drinkwater/Campbell if Talau scores shit. I probably want one of the Eels halves paired with IKatoa for Rd 13, but not the end of the world if I end up holding Crossland and Mann's out a few. IKatoa could make way instead or just skip the Eels half and play both.

Good pick up Mr Brownstone

What is the verdict of Pangai-Junior his value proposition was his offload-trigger-happiness ==> yet this needs to be balanced with Ciraldo's hooking-trigger-happiness when he sees this deviant behaviour

Luki's ceiling is incredible. I think he has the potential to be a much better player than Nanai if he can stay fit. Does that translate to fantasy? Who knows he might just score like Kikau

If Walsh does not end up getting selected for Origin - he is remarkable value - to those thinking of ditching him - just don't

On the other hand if he does get the nod over Ponga, then there is a very obvious trade

Is it best to go straight away since Nanai returns in 4 weeks or will he go to the other edge?Chewie wrote:

I’m thinking Alamoti to Luki. Would mean I’d need to trade in a CTR next week to cover Lemuelu but might force me into getting Bird which is a good thing I suppose

Back to back 20s against decent teams with massive BE. Might be great value buy in a few weeks

Thought you were talking about Jacob Preston for a sec. Would be pretty handy if he could pick up WFB dual.

Is anyone looking at selling Ford?
BE up to 37 now so probably doesn't have a ton more cash to make, and Warriors have byes coming up in R12 and 16.
I'm probably overthinking it and should just hold for R13.

I would expect Luki to get the other edge once Nanai comes back.
And there is merrit to jumping on early, especially if it's an upgrade for Alamoti

Yeah, I briefly thought the same thing.
I mean Jayden might not be the best fullback around, but saying a rookie backrower would do a better job is a bit harsh haha
Then the penny dropped
