What are the actual chances of VTW actually starting? Or is it just the hope?

I think Cook is also a big chance for Origin 2 if NSW somehow don’t win.

Cheers thanks for that, far out I haven’t even looked as far as round 16 yet.

He does seem like an ideal 14 coming on for impact.

There was something saying Lee hobbled off training

Could be Wayne shenanigans but wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a late in

Their bench looks super light otherwise

Will have enough MIDs for the round anyway with planned trades, missing an edge and a WFB, but the only ones I don't have that I'm half-interested in are Garrick and Haumole and they (a) will leave me in trouble in R14 with the small bye; b) are surplus to requirements with full edges and wings for R16.

Guess I'll wait and see whether Haas backs up and if he doesn't can trade him to someone more useful (Cook, probably) next week and pocket a useful bit of bank. Not backing up is the big thing... don't care about him losing cash or getting a few less points than usual as long as he's playing and I'm not short for the post-Origin small byes.

I could understand a Haas trade out. There are arguments both ways. Depends on personal circumstances. For me, I want three trade-ins, Miller/BS9/Boyd seem better trade outs than Haas, and trades aren't unlimited, so happy to hold for me.

my tv broke wrote:Hey all, been working on a community-driven 'match notes' section for the website today.

If you load up any match, beside the interchange timeline there is a 'match notes' section.

The general idea is that anyone can add a note/comment, eg X player went down injured and this is why Y player got bigger minutes, or there was a position swap at kick off eg whitehead named at lock but actually played edge, etc.

There is the option to tag the relevant players and add a 'type' ie what it relates to.

Its reasonably primitive at the moment. Any new notes get added as 'pending', you can still see any pending notes by clicking on the button. Once I approve them they just get shown as normal.

The aim is to build this out a bit so that when you are looking at a players profile, it will add this info next to the relevant game (this is where the tagging comes in) so you can see at a glance WHY a player only got 20 mins that week/whatever.

Will see how it goes I guess... Might be fun/useful to chuck in notes as relevant events happen while watching live games/etc.

    UPDATE

On player stats view,  the little info icon where you hover to show match info is now a purple color if there are match notes for that game (and the player is tagged in the note). Just hover on the icon to see the relevant notes.

    EG CHN's first five games for 2023 - https://footystatistics.com/index.php?p=501241

    -

There's also a little info icon next to player name in match stats page if there's a note they're tagged in, if you click it there it just scrolls down to the notes.

Will think about making this a bit nicer but for now it should be helpful for everyone once we get some comments rolling in.

Assuming that’s Billy Smith rather than Cheese?
Either way, might be worth a trade for another round 13 WFB/CTR (if it’s a luxury).

Edit: Nevermind, read it properly and see Cheese is your out. Billy still might be worth the trade out as well.

Hmm I hadn’t thought of ditching Billy Smith just yet after 1 bad game but one to think about. I wish I didn’t have to put out Crossland and Katoa but I don’t have the bank to bring in anyone worthwhile. I could do Katoa to Gutho? Think I’d be too WFB heavy then that’s all
I have 153k bank after the 2 trades
