    UPDATE

On player stats view,  the little info icon where you hover to show match info is now a purple color if there are match notes for that game (and the player is tagged in the note). Just hover on the icon to see the relevant notes.

    EG CHN's first five games for 2023 - https://footystatistics.com/index.php?p=501241

    -

There's also a little info icon next to player name in match stats page if there's a note they're tagged in, if you click it there it just scrolls down to the notes.

Will think about making this a bit nicer but for now it should be helpful for everyone once we get some comments rolling in.

Wow, way to show you have no faith in your named fullback.

Ah Weekes, will get a game or two after all. Could be in a flogging though.

    These two not sure
    3. Boyd to Cook, although that Granville #13 news has thrown me a bit. Not expecting him to get within 10 of Cook or anything, but might be worth saving a trade for now
    4. Granville to cashout - but might be a hold now, even if I don't play him

    1. Good
    2. Prefer Carty if you can manage rd14. Does it have to be an edge? Keep an eye out for Lolo if you have a dpp somewhere.
    3. Granville's dead. Use that info as you will.
    4. See point 3.

Probably go ponga instead of Isaako as he gives me 400k bank and turns say Nikorima into a Nikora for example

We will see, best of luck this week too

    Nikora is interesting.

My plan until now was for my final team edges to be Fifita play sone of iPap/Bateman but Nikora also scoring well, and after this week only misses 17.
I don't have Fifita yet, so Nikora might even be a better option for total points, depending on how Fifita backs up

    Cheers mate

Has to be an edge to get 13 (or a CTR if I move Bird)

Alt is hold Boyd, do eKat to Cook and play 12.

I am warming on a punt to Haumole, as it also helps my diabolical R16 numbers and I can manage R14

I could understand a Haas trade out. There are arguments both ways. Depends on personal circumstances. For me, I want three trade-ins, Miller/BS9/Boyd seem better trade outs than Haas, and trades aren't unlimited, so happy to hold for me.

if I trade Haas out, its likely for Hopgood - who, assuming he doesn't get called up for game 2 or 3, will score more points between now and R18
I have some concerns about scoring in a team with Paulo, RCG, Ofa + Matterson, so quite possibly will want to trade him back out again, but likely not the worst if I can't

Otherwise it Haas - Lemuelu. Banks more cash, and gives Bird a CTR partner. At the moment I have Billy Smith + Alamoti as my other options, so getting an upgrade there could be worth it.

By keeping Loiero, Boyd who others are trading out, I have better scoring options over the next few weeks, and can upgrade them to final 17 players rather than bye friendly middies

Note that Mann is lurking in reserves and injury lists have him back this round, could easily take Miller's spot in the 17.

I see that. Would you play Crossland or Niko? Note Niko plays first. I could loop, but I'm really scared they'll fuck it up, even though they say auto-replacements apply.

I consider Nikora to be similar to Ipap and Bateman, potentially slightly better (and having the same byes), the thing that's got me looking at Bateman instead is that he's 60k cheaper than Nikora and hasn't needed to score tries to score well so far

Cool, thanks for info. I think I want a slice of it, but with only two I want to discard - Miller & Katoa (and to be honest, I already don't even want to get rid of Katoa this week) - I'm more drawn to Ofa and Ponga this week. They almost even rhyme. Kind of, almost.

Prioritising Fainu would make Cook easier to obtain next week, though, if someone puts their hand up as a trade out this week.

It's weird. My team hasn't been serving me too well, but I'm really struggling to part with players this year. Not sure why this is...

I am eyeing him up for round 15, grabbing Shaq instead this week, to have enough players next week.

Yeah I like both Hopgood and Ofa but can only fit one, and probably the other in a couple of weeks. For this week though (for points), has to be Hopgood right?

I think I'm mostly settled on trades for now unless (until?) another spanner is thrown in the works.

Young to Hopgood locked in with the big C
    Carrigan to Harris
    Miller to Cook
Talau to Ponga probably sneak in at the end.. leaving 9 trades.

    Cook
    Harris, Horse, Tatola
    Hopgood, Bird
    Ponga, IKat
    Lemuelu, Te Whare
    Drinkwater, x, x

Cleary, Hynes, Grant, Haas, Boyd, Preston, Hedwards, Oloapu my holds. Might need to look at EDG/CTR next week unless Te Whare sticks around. IKat on the chopping block.

Similar train of thought. Could backfire but meh. Surely Hopgood is a priority this week over Null?

I like Metcalf, should be a quality first grader. I'm not keen yet for fantasy, mostly because his job security is iffy, as talented as he is. And he plays for a team that has given SJ the Cleary-like reins. Unless he wins goal-kicking or something. I think the bigger implications aren't whether Metcalf is a buy, but whether he affects SJ's scoring. I think he's worth a look in the Warriors side first, but then he misses rd16, which makes him really hard to buy, as much as I'd like to.

What is going on with the Eels medical staff? How do we still not have a Matto timeline even after team lists have ruled him out? a decent chunk of my bye planning depends on whether he’s back for 16 or not.

Happy enough to release topless shots of Matto but slow with the diagnosis of his bloody injury! Berks!

Not expecting him back any time soon, is now indefinite in casualty ward

I'm sure others have pointed out looks like the max (to my eyes anyway) is 12 for you. I would absolutely use all 4 though. Trade outs look like, Miller and BSmith pretty obvious, probably Matto. Boyd's been good, but I'm not sure I'd hold him over those origin guys. Boyd to Cook, use Crossland who should get hooker dpp next week to cover hooker for rd16. Think you need an Eels forward, Hopgood or Ofa (or Carty?) (you decide, I'm not doing the maths for you). Ah right, you have no WFB's, man that sucks mate. Miller to Ponga. Wfb's are a bit of a wasteland, but maybe drinkwater?
