I think I'm to old fashioned mentally, only 45yo but faaark me I could have applied a Mortal kombat style finishing move to numerous people today.

Draining and downright depressing honestly. Manners and courtesy becoming obsolete. Sound like a right wank don't I.

I'm a Wednesday office guy as well I assume doing a similar commute. Normally head home at lunch time and finish off the day at home

I think Young and Fleger are odds on to spend time in the bin tonight. Not necessarily at the same time. But potentially

Honestly, the angles of conversation and words that people think is ok in an office, if u said similar elsewhere it would be OK to do that. Not that I'm condoning violence of course :study:

is toovey still keen for a head coach gig ? i thought maybe he didn't want the stress.

i googled and it seems he's running the sea eagles pathway program

Toovey put his hand up to Coach the Warriors following Kearney's sacking late 2020.
He had a full interview, so was definitely keen for the job.
    Then they appointed Nathan Brown.

It's a weird one for me too, I just suspect he doesn't present well to boards...
I could imagine him doing a decent job at a club like the Dragons (not that it would ever happen)

My hot take is that the best origin coaches are club coaches. They understand bench rotations, they understand how individual players play due to scouting week in week out, they know how the teams are going to be playing.

Freddie is going to criminally under use someone tonight

    Freddy is just… bad

Origin doesn’t even need big tactics or anything. These are the best players in the country

They just need a man manager and want it more than the other state. That’s why Bennett beat him with the ‘worst team ever’

I've been at a startup (though it's on the bigger side now, few years old) for a few months and it's been brilliant. Remote first, huge focus on hiring good people, fast moving, would recommend.

Still have to work when I don't really want to though haha.
