Also - is Bird a hold?
My CTR and WFB are a shambles - need to use 3 trades this week just to cover those positions

I have Boyd for Round 19 if he survives that long which he should.
With only him and JMK I’m without a HOK for 16 so he would need to come in to cover that
If JMK is good to go I’ll probably still get Turpin this week for Bird and hope he makes a bit of money and contributes fair scores for his price
Yeah Robson is a tough one for me. Doesn’t play next week, scores are up and down but the average is good I guess.BCT05 wrote:
Oh yeah I forgot about Boyd for rd19, I still have him also. Wouldn't be able to play him at half either...
Turpin does make sense. I think I'll still just get Robson instead of Turpin but might wait until rd16 and get iPap for Bird this week.
multiple.scoregasms wrote:Origin. I don’t believe this nonsense about Queensland caring more or wanting it more. The majority of Blues players were out there giving it their best but the game plan didn’t work. Laughable suggestion that Teddy’s slip cost the Blues the game. Hammer was through the line with 2 unmarked players inside him. It was a try under the posts regardless of what happened, the slip just changed who scored it.

I don't think people blame that slip alone for anything. More as just an example of Teddy's general decline this year. There were a few other examples of poor options last night, but very few examples of him actually looking dangerous. Combined with his lack of impact for the Roosters this year, and you get the criticism that came last night.
The most frustrating thing was that NSW had everything go their way to win the game. They had enough territory and possession to win easily, but they got 3 tries. One of them off a QLD knock on (lucky not be a knock against NSW) , and another a lucky regather after a kick (and the kicking game was fairly ineffective last night)
Held up a couple of times, but for NSW it wasn't a good enough performance.

Out 2 weeks to rest his knee and then they have the bye
I don’t see why they would rest him for one week and then play him and then rest again. Seems rather pointless to me. That’s just my takelukeayee wrote:
Was it confirmed he was out for 2 weeks? thought only 1 confirmed so far.

You will regret Suaalii... At CTR he just does not get enough look in

Yes, it was confirmed he will not play vs Penrith or South Sydney, so he misses at least 3 weeks (14 15 then the bye in 16). He also has a bye in round 20 so best case he plays 3 of the next 7 games (17, 18, 19)
my tv broke wrote:I know some people have suggested keeping Bird as he is a keeper at centre, but he's already missed one of the last two games, and was subbed after 50 mins in the other. If he's sitting out the next two games, then the bye, i aint hanging around to find out how his minutes will be managed after that.
