    Likely going Burbo > Fainu as it kills a dead spot in my team with what is likely to be another dead spot in 3 rounds time. 12 trades left so feel like I can afford it, gives me a round 16 warm body too.

    How do we all feel about Hopgood and his future minute outlook. With RCG back and Matto back shortly do we think this could impact his minutes enough to cause hesitation in bringing him in?

    Gut feel is that Fainu won’t be starting next week.

    Yeah I reckon he’s back early. Just doesn’t feel right.

    I’m most likely horribly wrong though

    Tuilagi's injury is a facial fracture I think? Do players commonly return from that faster than estimated? I don't think there's much harm in letting him through to the keeper.

    I think it just depends on the specifics of the fracture.

    Eg Walsh only missed a week at the start of the season.

    Sea Eagles injury report said he should be back 'in a couple of weeks'. So bit of a guess. He just needs clearance to resume full contact training and then i assume he would be selected that week.. but who knows, may take longer than expected as well.

    'in a couple of weeks' kind of alludes to round 18 at the earliest? I'm happy to punt on Fainu if he was guaranteed this week AND next week starting. Next week is the kicker. If I got that and he's out from round 18, I'd be satisfied.

    Yeah I think he'll get round 16.

    Tualagi back round 17 would be annoying if only grabbing Fainu now, which seems like a good chance, but yeah, define 'a couple of weeks' lol

    I guess a couple could mean next week.......but to me that would only seem like 'a week.'

    Looking again what you posted from the site;

    Kelma Tuilagi continues his non-contact training whilst his facial fracture heals after suffering the injury in round 11 against Cronulla. It is hoped Kelma will be fit to play in the next couple of weeks.

    Posted yesterday.  Round 16 game is Saturday the 17th of June.  They also use the word 'hoped'.  I think Fainu easily gets round 16.  That's only 11 days from yesterday when the article was posted.

    As I said, I'm kinda okay with it if he gets this week and next week.

    .....we really invest too much into this game, don't we? lol!
