Would prefer Cogger as you'd think he should be good for bulk KMs playing with Luai.
Pretty comparable to Boyd next to Foran. Except without the goal kicking. Problem is a lot may have Oloapu and getting Cogger would scrub out the Moses spot?

    I'm getting Fainu. Two reasons:

    1. There isn't a MID player between him and Butcher I'd want for longer than 4 weeks, so it's going to be two trades anyway. I figure spend the minimum dollars for 2 weeks that could be 3-4 or could be he wins the spot over tying up half a mil on some shitty 4 week loan. Is that upside chasing? I dunno. Just not going to tie myself in knots over this one.

    2. I can do this because I feel like I've managed this season ok-ish enough (i.e. got lucky a few times) so I'm allowed to do some luxury bye-flipping. It can't all be long-term, make 150k, and so on. WhErE's ThE fUn?

Rough blow for the young fella. OKC Thunder's rookie (Chet Holmgren) had this injury last August and it wiped him out for the entire 2022-23 season.
Hopefully Greig makes a full recovery and can return next season.

Is Simonssen the best of the WFB/CTR Eels? Running low on trades and need a CTR for 16 and a WFB for 19, so I figure it’s probably best to kill two birds with one stone, already got 3 on bye for 17 so I don’t want to add any more players from those teams

I think I prefer Russel, their averages are nearly identical (31.3 for Simonsson vs 30.8 for Russell) for Russell being 56k cheaper. Not sure there's going to be a meaningful difference between their scoring going forward so may as well save a bit of cash imo.

As a single digit trade guy, I can confirm that there is no point in bringing in a guy just for 2 weeks.

Anyone who gets brought it just to be brought out again is 2 trades that can't be spent elsewhere.
Especially when guys like Bird and Cleary keep on taking up precious trades

Latrell playing origin and having a lot of byes coming up.

Pretty decent I reckon. Dedwards only misses one more game, plays rd16, gun scores. He's a bit expensive though, try scoring rate higher than usual, will it continue? Will he be more important in attack with Cleary out? Or will the Panthers struggle as a result? But regardless still a solid trade imo.

I'd punt on him (no Moses or Oloapu) but I dont really have anyone to trade him to. Ford, Hedwards and Boyd aren't 3 I'm too keen on parting with just yet.

Hazelton was only supposed to play 1 game and played 7.  Some guys like fainu are hail mary trades that may or may not work.

Holding Nathan Brown for six weeks for his 1-2 week injury...

Well this fucking sucks but at least it clears up who I can trade out and I should be able someone decent for him. Burbo is probably going to stay in my team for the year.

Ford to Fainu. Ford has done his job, Fainu can sit as my NPR 21st when he's done.

Eels have also listed Matterson and Ofa with the old coming weeks treatment

But in the table they are listed as R16

Was it Luke Douglas who suffered a season ending injury, and then played the next week?

Unless Abdo uses his discretionary powers, it seems Brown is good to go. Matter adjourned for 3 weeks, with some fairly flimsy CCTV to support the charges.
