Wasn't there also something with the Saifiti brothers? One was starting, the other was bench, the starting one had more hype, but the bench one made more money?

I suppose that gives me 11 trades for the next four weeks

With 2 liddle trades left - I'm holding my breath and waiting for the inevitable season ending injury to one of my 'guns' (such a strange word).
I'll burn those 2 trades for Rd.19 if my Bludgers make it that far.

Speaking of pies the greatest one I've ever had was from a Queenstown bakery (maybe THE Queenstown Bakery). And no, not that overhyped chain of stores that I can't remember the name of, just this standard pie store in the middle of a random street.

The pie was literally a 15/10.

If you remember please convey it for the greater good ... I'll be there in a months time.

Always worth a stop on the way north, also the best white bait fritters too

In regards to the other conversation I wasn’t actually having a go at anyone and I am sure the other person realised that too which is why it wasn’t taken that way
Maybe it was lost in tone for others reading but it was only a comment about forcing cheap pod players for the sake when it has been the opposite which has helped them
I had hoped the real comparison might have been insightful for people but I guess not.

I have moved on and it looks like we have all too
Seems anything I say that doesn’t involve food or alcohol is misconstrued these days haha

So will stick to what the audience wants, and go make a coffee

I think you may need to trade in a hooker for your team Booze, that Cook/Robson combo went up in flames

How long has Ken's Humble pie shop been around?

I ate from that shop about 10-12 years ago when it was a fish and chips place, and it was pretty shit, and haven't been back.
Might have to give Ken's a go next time I'm up that way

It went from fish and chip place to bait shop to now the best pie shop in the region. Ownership has changed hands a few times since your last visit

Hey mate you seem to have accidentally stumbled into the food thread. I recommend posting this in the fantasy thread for a better response

Usually it opens around Australia Day but this season opened really early. Just to peek at prices and all that

    Making wedges for lunch.

Sour cream, spring onion and bacon. No salsa. No sauce.

Here's one that might send everyone off the deep end - is a dip a sauce?

If a dip is a sauce then a hotdog is a sandwich
