Yeah, mind telling us which those teams will be?

Least likely to be teams in the middle which are competing for top 8 spots and bottom teams which are competing for pride and have no post season to worry about.

Top teams, except likely Souths are most likely to be resting players.

Souths (in 4th) are two points ahead of Roosters (in 13th). Who knows how it'll shake out. Maybe everyone will have things to play for (except the Dragons).

Good chance the Dragons jump to 15th without playing this week.
Good chance the Roosters drop to 14th.

Are you saying you're going to be passing on cut price guns like Munster, Grant, Cleary, Fifita, Murray (maybe), IPap etc?

Not seeing the appeal of Gutho, that round 27 bye sucks, I will be looking at trading out Eels ahead of it.

Why does it matter if you have two Eels players in R27? You can still easily field a fuil contingent!

Targeting Cleary and Fifita. Have $992k cash to get them for very average cows with my remaining 2 trades.

Then when injuries come, I can pick up any other underpriced guns in straight swaps.

So, you're not going to make another trade until Round 20, in four weeks' time?

Not if many other top players are rested. Not sure if you recall last season, in the final round Panthers played their B team, none of the fantasy mainstays for the season played - Cleary, May, Crichton, Tago. If they are top 2, which should be likely when back to full strength, expect their frontline players to be rested this season as well - Cleary, Edwards, Sorenson, JFH, Yeo, Hosking. Think of it as their 4th bye.

If you have run out of trades, as most probably will, any other injuries or suspensions will create additional holes.

I am expecting many teams to not be able to field 17 in that final week, or be relying on their cheap cash outs to make up numbers.

Love your optimism Dolphin! Personally think Round 27 will destroy quite a few team's ranks.

Got to be 95% or more of teams with no trades you would think. 2 players out already in Eels. Many teams out of trades a month before potentially, so any other injuries already mean others out. On top of that the potential for 1 or 2 guns to be rested.

Recipe for disaster but could be wrong. I'll more than likely have Hopgood still hanging around though.

Sorry to be that guy, but I didn't find your facsimile operating instructions post that helpful (on account of not owning a fax machine, although I guess it was informative in a historical sense?)

Gotta give it to Matt, he sure has the nads to really antagonize the fantasy Gods.
