Had just finally made the call on Munster and Cartwright in.

surely if he plays and they are up they will consider giving him an early rest, don't want a repeat of the Fifi incident.

Here is a good one would you rather Munster for 720k or get DCE in a few weeks for a similar price?

Edit was going to go Tohu but then i realised similar price to Munster

Imagine Graham goes into hooker in final team list and iKat to bench per earlier news. SOS obviously not playing hooker.

I've been looking at this as well re: DCE v Munster. Probably an argument for why not both.

Anecdata, but I had Munster last year and copped a horrendous score in the H2H GF.

DCE has a better floor at about 39 in base per game over the last couple seasons, Munster is closer to 32. The averages are basically identical.

I'll be waiting for DCE, especially with Munsters relatively high BE and illness. Might grab both down the track if it works out.

Yeah I prefer DCE for the extra 47k. More durable, always backs up and a better history of averaging ~60. I was thinking of going Oloapu to DCE for the only trade this week, but Lemu getting benched makes Haas or Yeo more reachable. DCE's high BE means I could hopefully get him for almost 300k cheaper than Cleary at Rd 20 and run the gauntlet with Hynes/SJ/DCE

I've traded in Munster twice in recent years for the run home, and both times he screwed me.

Once was 2016 (OK, maybe not that recent) when he scored 99, then the next week was named to play, but was a late withdrawal and didn't play again for a month.

Then traded him again in 2020. He scored 40 points in the first half against the bulldogs, before getting injured and missing a month.  (Could have traded in Moses instead that week, who went on to kill it. That trade alone cost me a top 50 ranking that year)

You'd think so. But we won't know for sure until they actually run out and start playing.

Yeah apparently word from Bennet was SOS and Kodi halves, IKat benched. Suggests this Harrison not Edwards bloke starts HK.

I got trapped by Munster in 2020 as well, though he did great for me last year (I started with him and held all the way through). I don't think he's a must by any means but if you need a half this week then go ahead (just keep an eye on mail in case he doesn't back up).

I highly doubt he'll move to fullback again unless Meaney were to get injured.

In an ideal world, Wayno could chuck Stone at HK, KBrom to LK and start Lemu. Feels like wishful thinking though. Reckon Niu and Lemu's defensive efforts last game have them in the doghouse for now.

    Decided I want DCE

might just go Alamoti to Cartwright and then tank this H2H round

Cant see a single player I want to buy.

    Have Grant, Fifi, Haas, Yeo
    Waiting on DCE
    Waiting on Bird
    Waiting a while on Cleary

Do you need an EDG, Fifita has a massive BE and could be benched again and drop like a stone

Yeah I do need an EDG, only back up I have is Lemeulu who has his own issues. I know Fifita might get cheaper but Loiero is bleeding and with the other good EDGs not playing this weekend, I may as well get the best in. I am essentially not bothering with Round 19 due to the trade situation and he has no more byes left other than that.

I can't see him getting benched but if he does, I will wear it.

It's possible I've become complacent with the amount of origin players that back up.
