I think if it’s grade 1 it’s still fine (or suspension if you’re Matterson)

These offences are listed as 3rd and subsequent offence. Maybe should just give him an offence for other off field indiscretions

Hopgood might be my route back to Cleary. Parra have a late bye I have 3 Eels and I might have 4 if I end up getting Hands as a solid 19th man.

    Liddle to Murray maybe.

    Bula to Edwards or Trell.

    Boyd to Grant

Lemu might have to go after round 19

Fuck I need Fifita too fuck forgot that.

Might go Turpin to Hands round 19

Piakura another cash out option if Riki out long term he’s a good 20th man.

How did you go this week mate? I went backwards a bit had 17 and scored a 883 rank down from 440 to 566 overall.

I’ve been grumpy all last night and all of today filthy at yesterday debacle sat through it right til the end at Accor wasn’t a nice feeling especially when your team attitude to defence stinks and they play with no desire. The boys ought to take a good hard look at themselves because that’s 4 of the last 5 lost now. Coming off the bye and produce that shit fair bloody dinkum.

I have 5 trades left might hold this week take a bit of a hit. I have Penis, Hopgood and Matto bye too. If Brimson misses origin I should be able to field 13 in round 19.

Feel like you should probably be making at least a trade or two with 5 trades left Rabs. You might as well be grabbing a Grant, Fifita etc this week if you're set for rd19?

I could do Turpin to DCE in one trade and it would make my team look insane

Not much good for 19 but

Don’t know if it’s statistically significant but DCE has a way lower average with Schuster (47.7) this season compared to without (66.4). Hard to tell if it’s a trend as Schuster wasn’t 5/8 in previous seasons and was playing EDG

Don’t know if Schuster is taking away possible TAs or something like that because base isn’t that much different (KM only 10 average difference, tackles 6 lower with Schuster, 35m lower with Schuster)

In saying that DCE is basically at 50 average price currently so should still be value

What's happening, imo, is that Schuster iia making the team worse, and that's been bad for DCE.

Think he is definitely affecting him in some way, but certainly not as much as those averages suggest.

But yeah it's the price he is at now that makes him attractive.. $700k now very different to that $850-$880k range he has been.

    What are thoughts on Simpkin?

Only 47 mins last game and subbed off twice.

Api due back R22, so could make some cash by time refreshed trades come along if he gets around 40s

Logically for me a WFB cashout is probably better as I only have Bula, so Kris might be the play

Not traded him out yet but planning to on run home

I think CNK is going to be one of the best from here on out

The last 5 games of the warriors are all teams that I expect to be out of finals contention (when dickings are handed out) and they have lots of home games

Warriors barely leave NZ now, its crazy

    Rabbits at home

    Eels in Sydney

Then x2 games in NZ, bye, gold coast, Hamilton (In NZ), Mt Smart x2, Suncorp (Against Dolphins)

So only 3 games outside of NZ from now until end of season

    I already have 3 warriors and I’m plotting AFB as a 4th

That extra bye makes things tricky though

Shouldn't even be up to the Dragons. Can't believe the NRL still let title chasing teams sign rep players on short term contracts to cheat the salary cap.

It was bullshit when TPJ signed for the Panthers to play 6 games, one of them a grand final.
It was bullshit to let Nofoaluma go to try and win a comp with the storm.
Letting Ben Hunt play for brisbane for a couple of months would be worse than both of them

Annoys me more than anything else about the comp

    Damn straight Milchy.
I agree with Gus (rare occasion), bring in a draft system.
If a player wants out of their club mid-season, into the draft they go and the lowest ranked team can pick them.
/if they pass, the second lowest and so on.

He was 20 then. Look at the improvements most EDGs have in their early 20s as they grow into the role.

    I'm looking at Blore too.

I get that people want guns but there are still 10 rounds to go, so I'm still keen to generate additional cash to afford upgrades to premium guns post Rd20.

Blore (IF his current role continues) will make $$ and plug a hole in R19.

The additional cash can go towards allowing me to turn the likes of Preston, Hands, Turpin into Cleary, Fifita, Gagai

Love this. Looked in deeper, and seriously, how deep do the Warriors go this year? Looking short odds for top 8 and good for 4th (no seriously!)

v Rabbits (8th) at sold out Mt Smart, Rabbits currently playing poor for them.
    Eels (7th) away (tough)
Home to Sharks (4th) whom we've beaten not scary
Home to Raiders (6th) whom we've beaten and not scary
    bye
Titans (9th) on Gold Coast, massive away crowd and Titans just sacked coach
    Tigers (16th) in Hamilton
Home to Manly (13th) not playing great currently
    Home to Dragons (17th!)
Away to Dolphins (11th) at Suncorp as we secure top 4

Only playing one team above us and only 3 games outside NZ! Our team is super composed and tails are up. While only Panthers, Broncos and Storm above us currently and all looking beatable right now. Give us a good draw by finishing top 4 and.... I'ma say it! Could this be our year?

I’m short a WFB next week plus maybe Hynes. Not really any point doing anything this week until we know what’s going on with Origin teams. Boring

Getting quite drawn to Kris as a 21st man cashdown. Ideally wouldn't need to play him except in R19, but he's a bonus score for then, and even though he's a generally bad scorer is at least playing 80 minutes for a decent team and could produce a loopable score once in a while.

I grabbed Kris last minute on Sunday. Was fully prepared to regret it, but compared to my other WFBs he looked like a gun scoring 36.

Ticks a lot of boxes for a cashout:

    - Useful dual
    - Plays R19 when most are short on WFBs
    - Good JS, been first choice FB all year when fit
    - ~6 points underpriced on his average at FB (priced around 24, averaging 29.8 when playing 70+ mins)
    - Basically 200k down on his starting price
