Yes. Surprised that Origin doesn't count, but seems that is the case.Honey Badger wrote:So does Walsh miss rd 18, 19(bye), 20, 21? And then rd 25?

Was that where Radley was able to count Origin even though he was no certainty to get picked? Maybe they have put the kibosh on that now.
Yeah I remember Angus and Radley counting it for Origin 1. Angus seemed fair and Radley was taking the piss
This seems more cut and dry, if the rule still exists.
Another thought - they also have separate gradings/punishments for Origin now. Has anyone actually checked that Walsh can't play Game 3 even while suspended for the Broncos?

His team has Rd 19 bye so guess that can't count

Seems like they are going to have some weird outcomes if you cant play rep games while suspended, but they dont count towards your suspension.
Worst case would be a 2 week suspension just before a grand final, miss that game, miss all end of season games for your country, then week 1 at the start of the following season.

Still tossing up Nikora vs Blore (+ Cleary bank).
Who, if anyone, would be a threat to Blore's JS?

Only concern would be Bateman moving back to EDG, Pole lock.

I'd guess the most likely would be Bateman back to edge and Pole to lock
Otherwise someone like Kepoa or Seyfarth starting edge, wouldn't think that was especially likely

Thanks both. I think that's probably worth the risk then, Bateman seems better served at lock these days and I reckon they just fit the other pieces around him from there.
Gonna do something I'll almost certainly regret and trade in two Tigers in a week (Simpkin and Blore).

Some sub gun pods that appear to be decent value:
Reed Mahoney, priced at 39 averages 48 at Hooker
Max King, priced at 39 averages 47 at Prop
Adam Elliott, priced at 37 averages 44 at Lock
Joseph Suaali'i, priced at 28 averages 34 at Wing (plus goal-kicking)
Jacob Kiraz, priced at 33 averages 39 at Wing

After previously saying I was likely going to ignore rd19 WFBs I might be tempted into taking a punt on Kiraz next week if there is no other carnage to worry about.

DCE seems like the best value gun. Murray too, until you realise he misses 3 of the last 10 rounds.

Which one would you outright start and which 2 to loop
Liddle, Turpin, NAS. Currently have Turpin starting and other 2 in loop, but contemplating NAS starting and Turpin loop with rib
I think if I traded Fifita in instead of Yeo/JDB I could take both scores in loop if good by reversing Walsh trade, but otherwise can’t due to lockout

Ponga has confirmed he is sticking with Origin withdrawal for the year so it seems Brimson is front runner and will be unavailable R19

I'm a bit lost on what I'm doing this week, think I'm heading towards no trades.
The plan was Tapine to Bateman but I forgot Bateman is not a Mid so I would have to play JFH this week and it seems a good chance Horse plays origin next week so Tapine could be nice to have then.
Sneaky tempted to do a Hopgood to Yeo trade but with Hopgood's ownership he could kill me next week and Paulo will be playing origin so his minutes should be good.
As things stand I'm going to have to sit out one of JDB, Tohu, Tapine or Hopgood next week.

You will be able to do a huge loop, to avoid a poor score.
