Might go different direction. Considering jumping off Drinky but currently 1k off going

    VTW/Robson/Harris/Drinky to Cleary/Haas/Yeo/Murray

Would you guys swap Matto in for Robson as the trade out or Hopgood instead of Harris to faciliate the trades?

@Finch  You're in CHCH yeah? Why don't we organize a meet up for one of the Warriors games? Find a bar somewhere for a few pints and a bit of banter? Dragons in R26?

    @studogg101 @Weiland @easytiger @Lemmy KGB and I'm sure there are more

Love the trades, particularly with ditching Matto. Does Matto&Harris out work?

Sorry to get all mathsy on you, but that looks like a lot of players involved for '1 trade'

    Nope, Wgtn atm

I'd be keen to go to a finals game at MT Smart (If w get one) - But I'd never forgive myself if we lost "If I nver saw the game in person we would've one!"

Yeah never mind I meant two, the point stands though.

Is buying Skelton and playing him worth it to save a trade buying Cleary?

Why trade out on of the form players in the comp? Seems crazy

    Is it because he's WFB?

We are basically full strength now, I think Tohu will be a 65 min player at max

In non injury games this year he's played 73 minutes, 65 (if it happens) isn't a big drop.

In any case, the question for my team isn't whether Tohu is one of the best MIDs available for the run home (he probably isn't)
The question I need to answer is whether he'll be more useful to me than Jacob Preston, and I think there's a good chance he is

Preston has a few other things going for him, so will mull it over for a couple of days before deciding.

    IMO
Buying Skelton to get Cleary is worth it
Buying and playing him is not worth it. I'd find another way

As one of the initial #SkeltonExpress buyers and watching him last week, he scored well for the very small amount of ball he got

Looks like a boom/bust kinda player where if he just gets one big run/try he'll score 50, or nothing and he'll get 25

He's arguably playable for the "boom" factor, but coming up against the Panthers this week, who are back at full strength, ad no Sexton no Bulldogs is a recipe for disaster

If you can buy him and find a way to not play him that's more ideal

Yeah if Skelton was tucked away in #21 then I like it, if not then it's a no go.

I am irritated and half-cut, so I wrote a short poem about Tohu Harris

    Harris, Harris, he's very nice
Looks great, probably smells good too.
    Tackles lots, and can pass.
I loved him at the Storm,
    At the Warriors he's ace
But he's a bit injured with a bye coming up and pretty pricey so I can't imagine why you'd keep him when like Murray or Cotter are heaps cheaper.

Is Bula good enough to keep in the wfb lottery all season? I need to try and work out which move will net me more points.

    TU: Matterson to Bateman
    TD: Bula to Garrick

Yeah, the problem is that if I go the Cleary/Skelton route, I have no option but to play Skelton.

I'm thinking a better bet for me would be to go Robson to Timoko or Kiraz this week (holding all other trades) then just wait a week and hope Cleary loses enough money (so gets 70-80 instead of 100+).

Sharks should be much better this week now that they've dropped their defensive liabilities, so I think I may be able to get away with captaining Hynes over Cleary this week.

I can go Harris/Matto/VTW/Drinky to the 4 above mate.

Risk jumping off Drinky in this insane form run (7 game avg of 68) but Yeo seems safer

Is Harris to Cotter needed for the extra funds? I’d try avoid that trade personally.

While the other trades look good in isolation, I feel like you’re hurting your team looking at the big picture. Your bench is quite weak from what I saw.

You may be better off missing out on Fifita, going a bit cheaper, keeping Tohu, and upgrade a bench player.

    Food for thought.
