Perhaps the better trades this week are cashing down Simonsson to Suaalii to keep the CTR/WFB cover intact and then using the funds to turn Bula into Murray. Means I can keep Tohu around for the season.

Just feels stronger that way. Tohu/Murray/Suaalii beats Murray/Cheese/Simo?

Problem with option 1 is that Suaalii will be in the scoring 17 this week, whereas option 2 Simo would be 18th

I mean if it's Tohu vs Cheese, with you getting Suaalii's score for 1 week I think id take Tohu still.

Yeah I’m leaning that way. It’s all dependant on him staying on the wing though, not at all keen if he’s named at centre.

Yeah I’m not totally convinced but not sure the other options around him are great.

Dare I say Matt Lodge scored quite nicely. Has a average of 50 playing 50+ minutes and Paseka probably doesn’t return this year

Yeah, I don't mind Lodge personally either. Risky suspension prone though.

The plod king loves to tempt people with a first up 50 then revert to 30s

Six weeks to go its time for boom or bust players imo. Im not going to say the word..

If i needed a midranger itd be cheese all day. About to go on a tear

For me im still thinking Harris to Murray is a no brainer and leave 5 trades for 'problems' in the last 5 weeks

Don't say this, making me re-consider holding rather than selling NAS

But does that apply to NAS?

He's probably not playing edge for six weeks - Katoa just over a week ago said he'd be back in 2-3 weeks.

So, if NAS is back in the middle on his middle minutes - can he be a boom or more likely just a bust....

NAS isn't someone you want in your final team IMO. A loop option definitely if you can swing it but an easy enabler to a gun.

In the monthly, I am ranked 10th - 41 points behind first place, but only 12 points behind 3rd (and a $250 NRL shop voucher) 1st has a bit of a gap to 2nd, but after that its pretty crowded near the top, and anyone could gain or lose a bunch of places with a few extra points

Should I go POD captain option, in the hope that Hynes and Cleary both fail to fire, and hope I can pick someone to banner and catapult me to the top.
I'd pretty much use one of my remaining trades to get in a captaincy option. My odds of winning something in the monthly are good enough to risk a slightly worse overall rank if it doesn't come off. Certainly not going to win any prizes for overall.

So who is the best player not Cleary or Hynes to captain this week?
DCE vs Dragons? Give Drinky a shot vs Titans? Give one of the Dolphins a shot vs the Bulldogs (Hammer? Legitimately captain Isaako)?

If I just stick with Hynes/Cleary and everything else goes well, i could sneak into 2nd/3rd but there's a bunch of people to overtake.

ytsb and snatch also in with a shout at a prize. How are you guys going to play it?

Gotta be a floor play as well as chasing ceiling. DCE, Fifita, Horse probably the main candidates for mine.

Good for 60 odd anyway and could go huge with the right attacking stats

Murray's 5 most recent scores against the Tigers:

    67
    68
    59
    81 (1 try)
    66 (1 try)

I think there's an argument to be made there if you need a POD captain. Good for 60 odd minimum and probably goes 80+ with a try, which you'd think he's a good chance of scoring.

Haas also goes well against the Roosters (maybe just because he goes well against everyone tbf):

    71
    54
    51
    69
    85
    81

Just 6.26% owned in the top 5,000. Reckon he could be a nice little POD.

Sold him a couple of weeks ago after starting with him. Team doesn’t look right, might have to get him back in 😀

Aye, was the last continuous original in my team until I think R20 sale.
(Although I have bought back Hopgood, Fifita and Cleary after some time away to find themselves)

Yeah Murray stats might be relevant, the Haas stats look pretty standard for him against any team!
