How good is it? Ryan Reynolds is hilarious!
My boy is begging me to take him but I'm guessing I would be frowned upon as it's a 15 ain't it? Or did the drop it to a 12A?

It's 18+ over here, aside from the odd sex scene there's not much too it. The violence is pretty normal and the swearing isn't anything you wouldn't hear coming from a teen around his mouth anyway. I say be a sick dad and take him.

Supposedly its better than the main release. 3 hours long.
I'll be watching it for my birthday.

I just can't get into Superman, he's always been that OP superhero. So no will not be attending.
They look like they're fucked up Suicide Squad as well but I'll give that ago.

Hulk is OP as well, so is Scarlett Witch with the Marvel movies.
Superman is pretty grounded in the movie, WW is epic, and Batman is sweet.
Suicide squad looks really good, cant wait to watch it. Will be there on opening night. Margot Robbie seems perfect for Harley Quinn.

No affinity for the characters and it was just well, kind of stupid. Have I missed the point?
Haha, will have to keep an eye out when I take the girls.Milchcow wrote:I took the Milch Calf to see Finding Dory yesterday.
I don't think it was as good as the Finding Nemo. Not a tissue movie (It's no Inside Out if we're comparing it to recent Pizar movies)
Did stick through the credits for the post credit scene - and noticed that SI worked on the movie though (or his name twin at least)
Watched it late last week. The girls were impressed about my name being up there.Milchcow wrote:I took the Milch Calf to see Finding Dory yesterday.

Major Spoilers below.
- Spoiler:
Seriously these spoilers will ruin the movie, watch the movie first to formulate your own opinion.
- Firstly a massive up, but I loved the entire soundtrack of the movie.
- I like Adam Beach (Slipknot) so having him die off without doing much is a shame, also the fact that it was so predictable from the moment his character is introduced. (Seriously give him a bit of a backstory or foreshadow it a little less.)
- Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jay Hernandez (Diablo), and Will Smith (Deadshot) were really solid throughout the movie. They made it for me.
- Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), I wanted to like her and at points I really did. However I feel they overdid it. I get that Harley overall is over the top, but sometimes it was just too much. With that said she was another bright spot throughout the movie.
- Jared Leto (The Joker), perhaps it was just too edgy for me but I didn't enjoy it. I don't think it is Leto's fault either. Just snippets of what could have been essentially. Would love to see him in a main role.
- Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), what purpose did he serve throughout the movie? I would have loved to see more, or well anything from him. Instead you get a scene of him throwing a boomerang at Karen Fukuhara (Katana), him throwing a boomerang to get a view of Enchantress, and him being punched by her brother. Oh and seeing him hold a pink unicorn toy several times. (Which unless I fell asleep/blacked out was never explained.)
- Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), suffer from the above. Although Fukuhara at least had a somewhat interesting backstory.
- The entire last scene. Now this is a small nitpick. However why have slow motion of Harley throwing the gun, or of Killer Croc throwing the bomb. Just slow it down as Deadshot is about to take the shot.
- Overall. It was alright, not the best, not beating Marvel, not beating Superman v Batman. It was alright. An enjoyable, predictable at times, but still a decent movie.
