I saw Gaurdians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 couple night ago

Think it's a 8/10 from me. I think I prefer the first one. This one the humour seems a bit forced, sometimes the scenes with Groot go on a bit too long, especially the opening scene I felt. It was funny, then it was cool, then it was just alright lets move on to somebody else now.

'Get out' is very good. Has had alot of media time to go with its release. But it is very different, quite creepy.

agreed with the forced nature of some of the gags and some you could see coming but it was still friggin class!

My boy absolutely loved it. He hasn't stopped shouting...
    Spoiler:

Dave Bautista is quality as Drax and I enjoyed the increased movie time for Yondu

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - If you've seen the trailers and the TV spots, you've seen the movie. The rest is just running, walking or driving to tie those scenes together. Save you're money. Master No Worries thought it was great. But I think that's just because it has Jurassic Park in the title, dinosaurs on the screen and he can go to school tommorrow and boast he saw an advanced screening before it was released.

I watched Get Out for the first time early this year. I've watched it twice more since then. It has become one of my favourite movies. Unique without being ridiculous, and intriguing all the way through. I've been recommending it to everyone.

With Alien Covenant, Revs, I was very disappointed as well with the second half of the movie. Not too mention the first 15 could have been the first 15 minutes of pretty much any Sci Fi ever made. But the second time I watched it I actually enjoyed it. I was a bit that way with Prometheus as well.

Get out if awesome! Loved the ending really kicks up a notch!

Watched the new IT last week, really enjoyed it, kids watched it aswell! Not scary but probably not the best material for them!

Took the girls and their friends to it when it came out. I read the book when I was 13 or 14. They did a really good job of it as it's a hard book to "explain". About 20 minutes to go I realised there had to be a Part 2 which was great, because I had no idea even with all the advertising that it wasn't the entire book in the one movie.

I too read IT at that age (funny that). I liked the original movie, though like the original Shinning didn't do the book justice. This version is a lot more true to the book but I found it underwhelming. Maybe that was knowing there was a 2nd movie to come. But now I'm not ken on seeing it. If you haven't already seen, dig up the TV mini series version of the Shinning, much more true to the book.

Add me to the list of blokes that read IT around that age.

Deadset loved it, although even though I knew it was utterly fucking stupid at the time, I'll admit I used to be paranoid as shit whenever I'd have a shower for a month or so afterwards.

Will make sure I watch Get Out based on your recommendations lads.

Another one on the list that read IT about that age! Book better than the movie by a stretch but enjoyed the new movie.

Get Out definitely one of the better, smarter and unique movies to come out in the last few years.

gonna watch "a quiet place" today and will let you know my thoughts later on.

13 hours - if you guys haven't seen that, its awesome. One of the most intense action movies I've seen.

Meant to get to A Quiet Place but never did.

With Stephen King movies, my favourite book was actually The Long Walk. They have been talking about a movie for decades but looks like it is finally going to be made Very Happy

That was a Richard Bachman book jut like the Running Man Razz

Side note - Rage which was originally part of the Bachman books is no longer printed. So if you have an original or copy from when we were kids it could be worth something

Yeah, all 4 stories were great.

4 Past Midnight was a little disappointing but I did enjoy The Langoliers.

I went and watched Jurassic World last night for my childhoods sake and loved it. I don't feel empathy for humans dying but seeing animals or in this cause dinosaurs dying makes me feel

I had the Bachman books collection - all four in one novel sized book.

Long Walk was my favourite followed by Running Man and Rage was OK.

It was in pretty poor nick so probably not worth anything.

Long walk movie? Makes sense as its in the same vein as hunger games, maze runner etc which have done well over the past few years.

A quiet place was OK. 7/10.

Pretty much exactly what you expected. Advertising probably over-hyped it a bit and although Krasinski and Blunt were great, they didn't really have a lot to work with.
