Also can anyone tell me what I came last year? I'm far too lazy to go back and find a post about it, and my memory has deteriorated in my old age.

Getting caught ball tampering is a bit like NRL clubs getting caught cheating the salary cap.

Everyone has to pretend its a shocking development and they have no idea how it could have happened. Obviously it must be a one-off because these things just don't happen regularly

    https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/david-warner-locates-missing-baggy-green-20240105-p5evc6.html

Question - Did he leave his cap at the hotel they were staying at, and now, he is too embarrassed to say so?

"“David Warner’s missing baggy greens have been located,” said a CA statement. “The bag in which they were packed was found at the team hotel [in Sydney], with all the contents inside.

“The movements of the missing bag are unknown despite extensive searches and the review of CCTV footage at multiple locations and the efforts of numerous parties since Tuesday.”"

i was listening to a sc podcast...apparently there are whispers Duncan will start edge then move to middle when murray has a rest during the game.

I'm not sure they are? On Team Analyser they seem to have reverted to last year's round one teams and ranks, unless there's another way of seeing them.

nrl.com predicted round 1 eels team they have hands starting hok with no hok on the bench just mids & edg so no lussick..."lussick was handed the reins from rounds 23-27 in 2023 but brad artthur looks likely to give hands first shot at the position if he puts in a strong pre season.

You reckon it took a week for the hotel staff to find a backpack that was left behind? It would have been found the day it was left behind if so.

Someones flogged it and quietly returned.

when hands played 70+ mins at hooker (7 games= 31,35,51,31,34,57,46) he averaged 40.7 & his b/e is 30. His scores are base averaging 39 tackles/game with mt 3/game.

If their predicted team list was how they lined up in round 1, I would have Matterson and Hands in my team, maybe Joe O too, if he was the only recognised MID on the bench, with Greig getting typically lower minutes. The way that Arthur used Joe O last season was weird, after recognising that he was being under-utilized at Tigers and signing him, then playing him even less than the Tigers were.

any interest in sezer at wests he has the bye round 1 but at 477k you could stash him in emg round 1
he last played nrl in 2019 where he averaged 34 so he's been away for 4 seasons. that average doesn't look too flash probably a wait & see. his best fantasy season was 2015 where he averaged 47 but he's not that impressive in the other seasons he played in the nrl.

Bit more expensive than I would've liked but boy Blore is going to be tempting.

Blore should be starting EDG, would back him to average 50 in that Storm team. Must have.

If he's starting on the edge in round 1 he's an easy buy. Bench middle probably not (granted I think edge is much more likely unless Bellamy moves Katoa to the left and gives Howarth the right edge spot which is unlikely)

Wouldn’t say he’s an easy buy when there’s about 8-10 EDGs to pick from: Lane, Schuster, Roosters EDG, Piakura, Knights EDG, Dragons EDG?, Curran, Blore, Rabbitohs EDG?

Blore, Curran, Lane, Piakura, Roosters 2nd edge, Knights 2nd edge, Kikau, Duncan... how many must have mid-range edges can one realistically have.
