Decent WFB cover will be needed with Campbell and Papenhuyzen early byes. No risk of position like with Munro and Arthars having decent backups. Big difference in average when Brown was out last year. 3 out of 4 home games to start the year where he has a try/game average basically. 2nd year back from ACL

    What’s not to love

Don't mind it. Can certainly go on the sort of scoring runs that can make quick points and money. And the Eels have a piss easy schedule for the first two months with only two of last year's top 8 to play (and one of them is Canberra) before a bye and an ultra-tough run. Same reason I'm keen on Moses at the moment.

anyone starting with hynes over cleary...better opening draw for sharks & panthers could start slow again like 2023...the 1st 5 games of 2023 hynes was the better by 51 pts

Four of their opening six games are at home too, where they can be a bit flat track bullies.
The seventh is also technically a home game, albeit in Darwin

Campbell reminds me a bit of Miller. Speedster with great attack but forgot to put some stats in defence
MS doesn't think he is very good
Still has a bit more experience than Kini, will be 4th year of first grade

While I don't rate Campbell and think Titans are making a mistake moving Brimson to fit him in, I think he is a better player than Miller and Sloan (Sloan catching strays out here)

Great runner of the ball, suspect under the high ball and in defense, repeatedly blows overlaps trying to be the hero.

Campbell will very much be in my fantasy team if starting round 1 until he loses the job after 8 weeks

New 2027 star signing Lachlan Croker will keep him out of the team.

Without being too direct in an interview, Ciraldo suggests that Curran will play EDG and Mann will play LOCK this coming year. i guess with Jaemon Salmon floating around as a utility this would make a lot of sense. This could mean they are both decent options?

If he doesn’t start Preston and Kikau that definitely vindicates my thought of Dogs getting the spoon

Warriors definitely look like they got the better Panthers assistant coach

The quote btw from an interview with Riccio.

DR: I do like the signing of former Warrior Josh Curran. Will he wear the Canterbury No.13 jersey in 2024?

CC: Nothing is locked in at the moment, but when we first met Josh he definitely made it clear that his favourite position was that lock role. We are very aware of what he can offer our team in that role. He’s slotted in there in the pre-season with Kurt Mann an option there as well. They’ve both shown what they can do with the ball in hand, but also their intent in defence. Josh is pretty versatile too, he did a good job for the Warriors in the back row, so we’ve got options there.

I interpret that as more Curran in the middle but can fill an edge if needed.

Might even suggest that Curran starts lock, Kikau gets a spell (or pretend HIA) around the 30 min mark, Mann moves to lock, Curran edge, Curran has a little spell when Kikau returns, then finishes the game at lock... maybe

And in doing so, they all have question marks over them for upside haha

your summation is what i think...the bulldogs pack is light enough without puny mann making it lighter

Not a good time for forum pets. We've just had to say goodbye to our guinea pig Jaguar (on the left)
Came down with cancer and spread to her brain. Happened every quickly, within 24 hours went from appearing normal to basically being unable to walk.
Youngest Milch Calf is a bit upset, and over the next week have to work out what we do with her friend. guinea pigs are social animals so we'll have to get her a new friend or put her up for adoption.
