I was watching one of the youtube channels and both the guys were really keen on Burton, which is weird considering he averages 5 points less than his price point next to Sexton.

I wish Bruce Longbottom played today instead of the 1980s. if so, he would be straight into my fantasy team. NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 1 - Gates are open, come on in - Page 30 Player_longbottom_bruce_1989

Must be off those designer toasties I saw him picking up before Xmas!

I had one and, although they are delicious, they are about 25% too big and leave you with a slight 'uncomfortably full' feeling (and I'm generally a greedy bastard when it comes to toasties).

The NRL has scrapped penalties for illegal restarts in a bid to encourage more teams to take short kickoffs and dropouts.

In the only change to the game's rules for the 2024 season, teams will no longer cop a penalty when a kick restart fails to go 10 metres or enters touch on the full.

Instead, the receiving team will be given a play-the-ball 10 metres out from the line of the kick and 10 metres in from touch.

The rule change comes after a significant increase in the amount of short droputs in recent seasons, leading to more contested possessions.

There’s quite a lot of fantasy relevant players with early byes in comparison to last year over first 6-7 rounds. Wonder if it might be worth beefing up the EMG a bit more so you’re not getting regular 20s early on

    R1: Tigers (Fainu?)
    R2: Titans (Campbell)
    R3: Dolphins (JMK)
    R4: Storm (Grant, Papenhuyzen, Blore)
    R5: Sharks (Hynes, Iro?)
    R6: Panthers (Cleary)
    R7: Souths (Murray, Tatola, Munro?)
    R8: Dogs (Curran, Knight, Hughes?)

Assuming Blore and Papy are a lock in teams, it should be scaring people off having Grant as well.

You ever had a French Taco? Neither a taco or particularly French... thin toast around spiced meats, melted cheese, garlic mayo and CHIPS.

That's only the silver medal in the greedy sandwich olympics though, gold goes to the Portuguese Francesinha: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francesinha

mildly interesed to see how it’s scored for fantasy purposes, the kicker won’t get a penalty anymore, do they get an error instead or is it just ‘nothing happens’ because technically they aren’t in posession of the ball’?

I would expect it is still likely recorded as an error, like kicking the ball out on the full in general play.
