    Just brilliant!

Life is very different here - remarkably poor country with lovely people, beautiful countryside, incredible beaches, and some really challenging encounters. Food is ordinary, traffic is fine, internet is poor, language is going to be manageable to learn. Prices around the same as country NSW for most things.

2 larger kids very happy in the new school, smallest kid getting on well with the nanny. Compound life is a bit weird, but great gym, squash courts, playground, social life etc.

Haven't had a change to dive, fish or mountainbike yet (lots of bugs going around), but it feels like its a great outdoor hobby town.

Come visit, I'll shout you a few beers and we can go diving! Think of Timor as a similarly-cheap much-less-luxurious-and-clean-and-organised version of Bali and you're pretty much on the money.

[invitation extended to all NRLFF folk, except @Snatchpato who knows what he did. Shame! Shame!

    nah, kidding. All welcome)

I've been to Kupang at the other end of the island, great people and a beautiful countryside... a steady and humid 30 degrees while I was there

Yeah, the weather is hilarious. 32 day, 26 night time. Every 3 days it rains in short sharp bursts (wet season).

Pleasant, easy living. As an expat. Much harder as a local.

Big lad knows he has to keep himself relevant in the media. Great strategic play by him and his manager. Most talked about reserve grader going around.

We replaced Volkman with NSW Cup player of the year Jesse Marschke. Stellar NSW Cup career, most recently at the Bears, should be able to immediately contribute to our reserve grade title quest.

I fully agree with this one has 40s and 50s scoring last year and in rep games and on Rabbitohs favoured left edge

Issue is with his suspension he can’t get DPP until R6 (could he get R1 if not named?) and R7 bye

Edit: had a look at old R1 thread from last year - 3 players got DPP despite not being named in position - Clark MID DPP on interchange and Sadrugu + Dunn MID DPP not named. I would think Wighton gets CTR DPP if playing in trials then

(Also throwback to the Sadrugu hype)

This isn’t necessarily saying Fogarty is a 60 average player like SJ

It’s expecting DCE to drop a bit with Brooks to play more of a role than previous halves and has historically averaged a bit less with Turbo as Turbo takes TAs off him

You have some real talent rising through, like Tyrone Munro and Tallis Duncan. What can we expect from them in 2024?

JD: They bring some real talent in what they do in their positions. Tallis sets up a real foil for Cameron Murray as well. His development allows us to play Cam on an edge at times and take some workload out of him, which is a great asset to have and it doesn’t really affect the way we play.

Source: Daily Telegraph interview with JD.

Murray at times to play edge and use Duncan through middle where he’s solely trained thus far. Guru sources were wrong lads.

Rotating fullbacks during games always works so well. It's why all the top teams are doing it.

in saying that, there was an article today about how RTS will have a "roving" role this year so Warriors could be doing the same thing. :/

Not sure he'll average more than DCE, but I'm interested for the reasons you listed. Think last year was the first season I didn't own him at any stage.
