At the moment, I've got Penisini in one centre spot and I'm praying that Strange beats Weekes to the 5/8 spot so I can put him in the other centre spot.

Failing that, I don't know who I'd run as the 2nd guy.

I feel like everyone has that hope, probably just so that we can all call our centre pairing Strange Penis

It's 2 weeks until the NRLFF Draft Leagues begin.

Most of the returning players for Leagues 1 & 2 have confirmed their spots, with a good number of new Draft players for the lower league(s) - meaning we may be able to run an additional League this year.

    Draft is a fun format for Fantasy, so if you haven't played it before, give it a go;

Ponga got priced up to 55 so he’s basically priced at his career FB average unless you expect him to go on a similar run like last year

I'm a Knights tragic, and I really hope Ponga's 10 game blitz was just the start of a career where he dominates the opposition and leads Newcastle to a drought breaking premiership ...
But, the pragmatist in me says he was in a purple patch, will be targeted more this year, has other playmakers at the Knights to take some of the pressure off him, will miss Dom, and will be in line for Origin.
He's priced at his average and could very well drop some coin in the early rounds.
I'll be waiting and enjoying the show, and plan to pick him up as one of the top 3 WFBs sometime later this year.

Decent chance at the 14 jersey.... and the 20 points per game he is priced at.

I know. This is why Lawton makes me kinda sad.
He's the Watson / Mann / Stone of Manly. A player you just gotta respect for their courage and effort play.

I'd be tempted not to pick the injury prone guy who has a pretty shit track record minutes wise in my initial squad....he's definitely a wait and see what pans out option

    Morning all,

Intrigued about L.Knight and Hughes. Any Bulldogs guys on here who have some insight into these 2 and potential for this year.

I'm still keen to make the upside play.

He's priced at 55, probably averages 55. But there's half a season of averaging 62. More important for me, I don't see him averaging much below 55. Unless he isn't kicking goals, then all bets are off.

But assuming kicks goals, its like paying 55 to get 55, maybe 60+, and downside is like 50ish. I'll take that swing I think.

He's definitely a gun I'm interested in, probably the only one at WFB.

Had a quick look, Hughes has made a handful of first grade appearances at the same age Haas had just completed his 4th full NRL season as a big minutes MID and fantasy outlier, had already played for NSW and Australia, been named Dally M prop of the year multiple times, and punched out a teammate for disrespecting his kicks.

He already did that last year, played close to 80 in every single game except the last three. Even backing up from Origin he played 70+ in each of those.
