Hi there Fanatics. Rabbit here. 64 years old now. lol.

Had a lot on last year and a poor Fantasy year by my extremely high standards  Smile

But this year the wiley wascally wabbit will be in winning form again.

    Here's my early hot takes for you kiddies in desperate need of some sage advice;

Must haves - Cleary, Haas, Paps and Piakura.

Improvers - Boyd...nice DPP as backup hooker. Lenui...much bigger role. Flanagan...new club...Dad's coach.

Future guns - Munro, Mam, Hutchison.

Good luck for the year, kents.

My minutes prediction. Depending on who replaces Sutton, they could have higher mins. Probably more keen on Hughes than i am Knight mainly due to the price factor

    8 Max King 50
    9 Reed Mahoney 70
    10 Liam Knight 40
    11 Viliame Kikau 65
    12 Jacob Preston 80
    13 Josh Curran 55

    14 Kurt Mann 35

NRL Physio is saying that Max King played through lots of injuries last season and is expecting a huge increase in minutes this year, with all the players missing from last season.

Yeah but he's married now. All that pent up celibacy is lost.

Curran to play 95 mins a week to make up for all the plodders the Dogs lost.

Max King the new Aaron Woods

While we're naming "news", Curran might be the new Egan Butcher. As with Butcher, definitely going to start with him though.

North Queensland Cowboys player Luciano Leilua appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court this morning on a low range drink driving charge.

Leilua registered a blood alcohol reading of 0.052 on January 21, 2024. Leilua pled guilty and was issued with a $300 fine and a one-month driving suspension.

The Cowboys will continue to work with the NRL Integrity Unit on the matter and will make further comment once those discussions are complete.

Agree to a degree, he's an out and out MID, I don't know why Fantasy has him down as an EDG.

But he's a much better player than Sutton. He's a workhouse and loves a tackle (usually third man in). He holds the record for most tackles (72) in a Super League game which he started on the bench. He also played 80 minutes in the 2023 Grand Final making 55 tackles with 0 missed.

If he gets the minutes (50 or more) he is value.

I'm currently on a Cleary & Flanagan halves pairing with Schuster bench. You'd think he has the job security with his dad being coach and he posted some good scores back in his Sharks and Roosters days. If he can pick up goal kicking too that would be a nice bonus.
