Almost enough value available for the expected output and risk, but likely other better options that are less awkwardly priced.

Also why is Iro popular? Ramien and Talakai CTRs, or is Talakai reverting to bench forward?

I heard a weird unsubstantiated rumour that Tuilagi had trained one or two sessions at CTR, and someone wistfully thought that he might be a better bet than Harper and Simonsson in 2024. Few stranger things have happened, but if it does, you heard it here second. Something about getting your best 17 on the park and then sorting out the rest later

Generally speaking, means underpriced by 3-5 points.

Tempts you a little, but not really enough to actually want in your team

Just commenting on this - how do you plan on judging this?

People that subbed off Suia Wong from his 5 games as starting edge last year - Lindsay Collins, Fletcher Baker, Angus Crichton, (no sub twice)
Tupouniua started twice on edge and was replaced by Lindsay Collins and Terrell May

Plus if there is a Butcher on the bench (high chance) do you count them as edge or middle

I think this is impossible criteria to meet - how do you expect the newbies on your site to interpret it

That is fair, it won't be perfect as players don't exclusively just play edge off the bench a lot of the time. 2 out of those 3 subbed games though Angus was on the bench, and came onto the field either directly or before Wong was on, and then would have moved to edge when Wong went off (for Baker in the other game). In those 2 non-sub games there was the Brown send off so that match is a write off for forward rotation analysis, and the other had no bench edge.

    So in short:

    Angus bench = bad
    Tupouniua bench = 50/50 idk.
Anyone else on the bench = not so bad potential Wong buy.

I could probably specify it better in the post though.

E Butcher was on the bench for that second game. Wong played centre for most it when Manu did his hammy after 20 mins

He's a guy that people want to see in first grade because of his fantasy price. Nothing new here, and won't happen unless injuries

I wouldn’t say it’s just because his fantasy price. It’s because he was NSW cup player of the year at CTR and has played multiple internationals for Cook Islands where he’s scored well

But all the ownership came from NRL fantasy amateurs putting him in his predicted team with no source

haven't seen anyone post about terrell may coming off the bench & scoring 46 pts...i feel he's still viable even with all the mouths to feed there. my choice is terrell may vs tatola or boom vs safe

Sipley to miss R1 & R2 with grade 2 crusher tackle on Dom Young (3 game suspension, assuming 1st game will be used in 2nd trial)

    Code Brown

People have quite fairly adjudged that there are too many mouths to feed. Hasn’t left my team since my first draft though.

all the talk about weekes, strange, stewart, cotric as cheapies & schiller 250k ctr/wfb comes out & plays the game of his life absolutely smashing & hitting hard in defense pulling off some excellent tackles then scoring a brilliant try showing express pace. it's a pity he probably won't play but surely ricky is reconsidering this & he could be a bolter.

he's now in my team...he'll be like gurgess in his 1st year when he wasn't highly owned cause he was starting on the bench but he was consistently scoring low 40's

I don’t know if I can do all the preseason research and then end up picking an interchange player lol!

Yeah he was very solid, probably grabs a centre spot round 1 I’d think while Kris is suspended. Whether he shifts to the wing to replace Cotric/Hoppa when Kris returns is the question.

Yeah he was underwhelming. He's almost cheap enough to stash at 18th man if enough cheapies don't pan out.

    May’s last 6 scores:

    59 in 39
    54 in 41
    50 in 36
    48 in 51
    56 in 56
    84 in 56

So hard to ignore for mine.

He'll play R1 but with no job security for R2 when Kris is back. Also complicates some other Raider cows, because supposing Schiller kills it and Stewart stinks, Kris could come back as fullback. Or they're both good but Cotric/Savage isn't so Schiller gets the wing in R2.

I agree, Roosters have 4 1st grade quality EDGs - Wong, Crichton, Tups, N Butcher. They all likely get named in the R1 team and wouldn't surprise me to see all 4 used on the EDG at some point in that game.

The most consistent thing about Robbo is how much he changes up his forward pack, positions, minutes. What you see in week 1, won't necessarily happen in week 2 or 3. Unless Crichton is starting EDG for R1, I am likely to avoid all of them.

I agree with this take, Robbo doesn't care about your fantasy team and you'd have to tread an extremely narrow path to figure out the best option if one even exists.
