I have come to a similar conclusion. Discussed it in my new team tracker.

Luki tempting but Blore only 20k more, if named on the edge you'd think he's the more likely of the two to play 80

Is there anything concrete that Horse will go prop. If this guy gets MID I can probably swing it. Bit trickier if he’s yet another mid-priced EDG

    I expect it. Good enough?

Horse is a prop imo. Ricky bought this guy to play lock. Thats my take

I thought I saw some actual quotes on it. Seems to make sense anyhow

    Clear team.

Edit: to be fair, it actually looks quite good.

Cookie cutter here, but apparently not by ownership, lots of PODs.

Ownership really means nothing at this point.

That’s one thing that people here can tend to forget. Cookie cutter here is not always the case amongst the whole playing group.

Though I’ve wondered why our community team always does well (top 1%) but doesn’t quite get that next tier overall. Probably because it’s not quite unique enough to stand out. The key is finding which one or two unique players are the right ones…

I think theres probably 10-15k serious ish teams max. If that. Last year there was like 120k teams in round one but there are so many casuals, h2h players, wives teams, auto fill teams that make up the numbers.

Someone could be heavily owned by serious players and still only be 5-10% overall. And thats once squads are actually selected properly by all the teams that have registered

You dont get the level of flexibility needed, like late outs and the ability to make spur of the moment decisions like bringing in Hosking when named to start, or perfectly optimise looping decisions.

You are also deciding everything tactically week to week, without the overall strategic decision making that an individual can have, with a game plan of where the team is heading.

Group think also tends to lead to risk averse decisions and sometimes winning takes calculated risks.

    Hey all!

    Hope we're all well.  Well this split teams malarkey isn't ideal.  Not much fun in my opinion.  Nevertheless we're all in the same boat and not really liking the few incarnations of my team so far.  Just started this arvo so I'm still catching up on some things.  Lots to sift through here though.  Good to see everyone back on board.  Anyway, will sit on this tonight;

    Robbo
    Haas Elliot Flegger
    Wong Piakura
    Cleary Hutch
    Penis Burbo
    Pap Turbo Cotric

    Lussick Luki Smithers Salmon

    Flanno Hughes Mikaele Strange

Not sold on anyone to be fair.  Not sure on Wong/Sitili but I kinda agree with Matt.  I think Wong will be the one subbed BUT he's definitely on the up so anything is possible.  Sitili loves a HIA though......dunno yet.

Dont want Burbo but can't really overthink that one.  Flanno too and Salmon I assume will keep the starting spot, but.....meh.  will tinker.
