That is a good looking team. CTR's and WFB need some work but what you have is certainly serviceable, outside of that the only issue is Carter but he may not end up playing so wont even lose you cash. How did you score last week and how much did you climb?

I scored 749 last week (and I captained Carter). Actually dropped 2919 places.

My plan is to cash out the forwards once they have peaked in price and use that cash to upgrade my backs. Obviously my CTR and WFB 'cash cows' have turned out to be duds thus far so I may need a plan B.

Shall I take a punt on Cartwright since he's been named?

Id be a bit nervous putting the c on Garvey who plays on monday night. If Lichaa is a late replacement you be stuck. Not saying Lichaa is going to be a late replacement but might be something to consider

Did anybody else miss the Garvey train and really hope Lichaa comes back this week?

Only used the three trades so far but probably going to need to use two to consolidate my ranking.

Just saw Garvey made 62k last week. No wonder you lot are crying like babies on missing out.

If you owned both Bryce Cartwright and Wade Graham, would you get rid of either this week? Both? Or neither?

Just had a look at my season history to date.
I've made a few trades which could bite me later, juries still out.

However I managed to completely reverse the direction my team was headed so happy with that. Started ranked over 19k after Rd1, went out further to almost 29k in Rd2 and now I'm 14315 after scoring 829 for the round.

Also picked up my 2nd win in a row for Random's league, with some momentum there Beast had better up his game or he'll end up my 3rd

The fact you have used only 3 trades and you are ranked in a solid position is really good for the start of the year.

HOK: Garvey is risky this week. However as long as he plays this week you are in a solid position here just make sure you have cash to upgrade him next week if you need to.
FRF: Really strong forward pack, not too much to say as there are all really strong picks. 
2RF: After Guerra's stint in the HLF's he should score well again in the 2RF. Again nothing wrong with any of the picks Guerra and Gillett are actually really good picks. 
HLF: Looking a little light at the moment but yeah full of cows like everyone else and if Walker and Hastings can continue their form they are borderline keepers.
CTR: Strong overall.
WFB: Again strong, if you can look at RTS soon has he will be cheap. Although not sure who you would swap for him. 

The only concern for your team is outside of Mitchell and Taylor you have no real depth to your team. Which could be a problem come Origin time.

wedding party last night...El Blotto! Came home and made the following trades expecting Carty out long term

DCE - Hunt

keep Carty now? and is it silly bypassing Mbye for Hunt thinking Mbye is just in a purple patch and Hunt is the better fantasy prospect long term?

could turn a midranger NPR forward into RTS but with Claw and Hunt in the Ctrs and Mitchell/Tedesco/Barba in the back im not sure how much value i would get. maybe drop mitchell to NPRs and throw RTS in there?

I don't like this move. TMM maybe more promising and explosive but Taylor's spot is much safer.

Even if Gold Coast are getting battered, Taylor will play. TMM will be one of first to go if Panthers have a losing streak.
