Is this dumb?

Option A
Cartwright to RTS
Aubs to Dugan?

Means I would end up with this:

C Smith, Parcell
Burgess, Graham, B Lawrence, Packer
Merrin, Whitehead, Mataora, J Saifiti, C Lawrence, Carter
B Hunt, Hastings, Walker, Taylor
Dugan, Ferguson, Gutherson, Scott
RTS, Mansour, Barba, Mitchell, Feeney

Only 9,000 in the bank.

I would rather play C Law or Mitchell over Ferguson but I really want to beef up that backline.


Or perhaps Option B:
Aubs and Ferguson to Dugan and J Roberts?

Then I get to keep  Cartwright, and CLaw in the the centres, and I can play either Mitchell or Claw. But then both the players I'm bringing in are useless for the byes...

Or more important to get TMM in this week?

Excellent mate! You'll enjoy it, Suncorp has better atmosphere because you're on top of the game but getting 90k+ to a game always has it's own pluses.

The trades are solid, if you do happen to make them what are your plans re C. Lawrence? Trade out Ferguson and shift him back there? Honestly I would make them you don't have pressing issues elsewhere really. I wouldn't bring in Roberts has had 1 good score. He will have them every so often I wouldn't expect it week in/week out.

keep Carty now? and is it silly bypassing Mbye for Hunt thinking Mbye is just in a purple patch and Hunt is the better fantasy prospect long term?

Hearing Carty is awaiting scan results on the thumb so maybe a 'wait' for a day or so. Jury's still out whether he's a keeper especially since the change of coach.

Looking at Mansour this week, but I'm starting to think it'll be better to hold off and save my trades/$ for RTS and Fensom in the next 2-3 weeks Especially with no cows this week

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I guess it all kinda adds up OK. I do feel like it looks a bit thin in the forwards but I could use Ferg at some point to downgrade to a forward cheapie and upgrade one of the cows. Though I get a feeling I might end up having to keep him for bye coverage.

I still feel bad dropping Cartwright though, but I'm not sure if he's going to reach his potential. The one other option was to keep Cartwright and trade Ferguson for Gordon, which I am still considering...

Frizell or Fensom?

Cant believe i brought in carter last week and hes been dumped. Would love to know mcguires plans though. Brown has been really impressive (pure footy terms) in my opinion and now has a starting spot. But will he keep it???

Nikorima to Martin is still tempting me.

Niko named to start again. He'll most likely see four more games in the starting side.

Martin on the other hand is guaranteed to start until Seggy is back, so probably another 2-4 weeks. If he plays well, he could hold his spot for the rest of the season. There's been talk (albeit from fans/pundits) that Seggy may even return as an impact bench player and keep Wallace in the starting side. But I can't see that happening.

I think it's probably wise to just stick with Niko for now. If you think Martin will keep his spot and end up making 70k MORE than Nikorima (from this point onwards - so example Niko 250k, Martin 340k), then Niko to Martin is a definite trade.

Just feel I have too many middies in the 2RF...Carty, Turner, Rochow all doing their job but I did expect more from Carty, can't plan for injuries and even with a poor 14 in 40 minutes he has the potential to score 20+ in one play

might just do my original plan of Welch - BLaw and decide on DCe - Hunt or Mbye

JTurbo will be dual FR and 2RF for next week

The Black Widow strikes again! Have gone Carter to BLaw and as of yet undecided who to replace DCE with but with Cartwright looking like he's good to go I can play him in my 17 however it means I'll have to leave someone out of my four R's I don't want to and for the price Aubusson is and how things go in Fantasy I'm not benching him. I mean there is the chance Cartwright doesn't play after all with the extended bench and all but that doesn't help with the Roosters playing before the Panthers.
You Fantasy poison Aubusson you I want to change the lyrics of that Alice Cooper song to reflect you but anyway I'm stuck with him for another week it seems.

pulling the trigger on this - mbye, who should have better base stats than milford. gallens return next week intruiges me with regard to graham but he has just looked so uninvolved.
