    Based loosely on last season:

    McLean 40
    Robson 80
    Lolo 50
    Nanai 80
    Luki 65
    Cotter 60

    Neame 40
    Granville 30
    McIntyre 15

Leaves Mikaele with 20, unless he grabs some minutes from Neame/Granville.

If Luki is playing 80, McIntyre steals some minutes too and McIntyre could hop into the middle rotation too.

on the game preview on nrl.com, it just says Hess is in doubt for R1 - seems to make Mikaele a no go

I think you are missing too much playable value in missing all of Wong, Tupoinua, Piakura and relying on guys like Willison in your 17, who probably gets 15-20 minutes.

Weekes and Strange won't both get a role. Schiller probably makes way for Kris. Stewart won't make the team, Rapana will be fullback. Gagai is likely a short term option, maybe 1-3 weeks. Burbo low job security too.

Too many potential issues to handle in the first few weeks.

Too sensible. Someone has hacked Matt's account. I'll get SI on the case.

Yeah finding a 500kish MID or EDG to punt to make way for Curran is not really a concern

Currently I've got Tatola, Luki, Fleg

Don't even have to get creative and downgrade elsewhere to make cash for it.

Does make me think my team is a bit too middie

    Rule of 7 (7 guns, 7 mids, 7 cows) has become a 6-9-6 formation.

Curran would be pretty easy to bring in.

What would be more difficult is that a lot of us have Salmon as a $289k scoring 17 player, and there aren't any equivalents to switch to at the moment if he needs dropping.

Tatola locks first game, so not really a TLT2 downgrade option. Fleg with the early bye could be easier to punt.

I'm a solid 5-10-6 if we call Foggy a gun.

Let's call Foggy a gun. And Salmon and Kris a middie.

Ive had Turbo in and out of my team. It bothers me that he was averaging 37 over his first 9 games before scoring 5 tries against the hapless Raiders and Dolphins. He has always had those huge games in him, but who would have held on to him after 9 games of muck to have benefited that 105 and 79?

Said it before, and may well be wrong, but the fact that SOS is substantially cheaper than Fog feels like an easy yes.

Last year he was changing his running style to avoid injury. Now by all reports has that sorted and back to his best.

Bringing in Boyd instead of Fog would solve a few positional problems (half as well as hooker cover) & make the eels hooker very optional.

I suspect Brad Arthur runs a 50/50% or 60/40% program for hkr minutes

I too had Tatola in my team until I looked at my 2023 rd1 team and saw Ryan Sutton……not bad but no fun. I don’t have him anymore.

    Wong, Luki
    Cleary (c), Fogarty
    Garrick, Burbo
    Papy, Turbo, Weekes

    Lussick, Hutchinson, Piakura, Salmon
    Mikaele, Strange, Hughes, Cotric

Surely 4 Raiders is grounds for expulsion from all leagues?

I have 5 horned helmeted greenmen. The question is is it the correct grouping?

Based on training today - when they do scrimmage type drills - level below opposed sessions - Kiraz will be right centre Wilson right wing Hutchison half xerri in reggies with knight, sexton. Only change from Sharks game - kiraz or xerri

Edwards, Hughes, Todd only light running - were joined by Kikau who seemed to injure himself during training.

Patolo Sutton Oloapu - just watching

    Didnt see Clarke.

I'll grab Kiraz then with CTR dual.

Would be funny if Kikau was out for a week and Curran starts EDG in R1.

In answer on the previous thread to the Arrow question I think he gets about 55mins maybe 60 at most.

Seeing lots of quality teams in here will be a good year.

Ignore the first 7 games, just go off the 105, 79 and his AVG from 2021 Basketball

Look at the Dogs draw first 7 weeks very hard if they’re not winning Hutcho could be dropped quickly. I don’t see them winning many games with that draw. Dollars might be crucial so I might pivot back to Flanagan Dragons draw isn’t too bad to start and Flanno I reckon better job security.
