Not sure if anyone has looked at Flegler's schedule, but with Origin, he misses at least 6 rounds this season. Going to be a definite trade out by round 13, even if scoring well.

    In addition to missing R3, will miss 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, playing just 2 games in 7 rounds.

That’s where I’m struggling with the early lock out. Best value comp at Hooker is probably Lussick (that I’d feel comfortable with) and there’s no guarantee that situation plays out how we think. If I hold off on Cheese and Hands/Lussick are both named, I’ll be force to go up to Grant, which in my current build isn’t ideal.

Watched the movie Moneyball last night for some last minute inspiration. You don't need all the big hitters to win the game...

They definitely ascribed to the value POD theory.

What if you only picked all the PODs that are popular here. Still get a winning edge, but also the PODiness.

Sure. If I was Mattnz, I would do all my preseason research, not looking at % ownership once, figure out my final team. Identify which are all my marginal "could go this way", "could go that way" picks, and THEN look at % ownership as a tie breaker to Matt the team up.

Edit: I suspect you can't help yourself though, and PODiness creeps into your thinking when you are evaluating players.

When I hear Smithies, I think Smith’s, which makes me think of crisps, so what do I prefer Cheese or Crisps? The crunchiness is nice, but you can’t go past a nice Cheese.

    I'm on B.

Likely Welshy said at some point. Smith will avg 43 if I pick him and will avg 49 if I don't. This is the way.

You can always ask @SI to monitor the website, unless he's coming over for the bbq.
I had the team analyser not working on Chrome, but it did work on one of the other browsers, not sure what was happening there, I think the issue is on my end though

Both have value but if it came down to either or, I would lean towards Smithies. For mine, he has way higher upside to go BOOM (not guaranteed).

Apologies if this has been mentioned already - but what is Izaac Thompson's status? He wasn't named in trials at all. I realise he was denied a visa but if he is also unfit/not in South's plans would that not potentially open Jacob Gagai up until Munro returns assuming he is selected over Kennar? Feel like I must be missing something re Gagai

A comparison to Flegler is Luki, or any of the Roosters forwards, who miss 1 game in the first 18 rounds.
