    Hmm

Superstar prop Payne Haas trained with strapping around his knee, but he completed the captain’s run without a major issue and Walters is adamant Brisbane’s No. 1 prop will face the Rabbitohs.

“Payne is fine,” Walters said. “It’s just a little niggle there for him with his knee, it happened a couple of weeks ago, but he will be right.

    “We’re one to 17.”

    What’s happened to Hughes?

These feel like unnecessary trades early doors, especially the second one

I'm in a similar boat with Niu and Kini. Really wanted to focus on a couple of forwards this week, but might have to limp into an Arthurs/Tua trade in (as a pathway to Campbell maybe?) and then one of TMay/Duncan. Centres always bite me in the ass every year, when will I learn.

Hughes to Talau is sideways at best, probably a downgrade for no reason.

    Late Mail

Broncos: The Broncos remain hopeful Piakura (concussion) will be cleared to face the Rabbitohs, while skipper Reynolds is expected to take on his former club.

Souths: Jai Arrow (shoulder) is out anywhere from four weeks to the season with Tallis Duncan replacing him on the edge. Jack Wighton returns from suspension next week and will make his club debut.

Sharks: Siosifa Talakai and Ronaldo Mulitalo are both in doubt due to ankle concerns but are expected to face the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs: Josh Addo-Carr has been named on the extended bench despite an AC joint injury in his shoulder. It’s understood he’s a chance to play with the help of painkilling injections but it’s unclear if the Bulldogs will risk him.

Eels: Mitchell Moses will play despite a groin injury. “I’ll be alright. Just pulled up a little bit sore but it’s fine. It was a bit tight out there. It’s just annoying but it’s fine,” he said.

Raiders: Danny Levi is set to play despite a minor quad injury.

Knights: Dylan Lucas (concussion) and Jayden Brailey (hamstring) are aiming for next week.

Storm: Nelson Asofa-Solomona is again out with a hamstring injury. Cameron Munster (groin) remains sidelined indefinitely.

Warriors: Kurt Capewell (ribs) and Wayde Egan (arm) are both in considerable doubt.

Manly: Jason Saab (hamstring) is set to miss six weeks, giving replacement winger Tommy Talau a decent run in the side. Josh Schuster (calf, finger, chicken pox) will return through NSW Cup this weekend. Karl Lawton suffered a lateral ankle injury against Souths but is on track to play.

Roosters: Sitili Tupouniua (leg) and Dominic Young (neck) are both expected to play. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (suspension) returns while Angus Crichton continues to battle a groin injury.

Connor Watson had a blinder as 80 minute lock in Cup last week. Doubt Sandon holds him out for long.

Was the best of the Roosters in their trials and hasn't been named in Cup this week, after starring for them last week. Likely on the verge of being named in the 17 this week.

I could have cover if I play Strange over Kris in my 17, and that seems a bit silly.

You can actually tell him not to, he just doesn't have to listen

    eg

    @danseels1985, don't make those trades.

I don’t feel like I’ve built up the clout/footballing knowledge of some of the greats here to be telling people what to do with their teams confidently

In fact it’s quite possible I may never

I started with 9 guys under the 400k mark and only one of them is on the first page of MTBs BE list when sorted by predicted price gain (last weeks score). That mildly irritates me

I have to laught at the comments that are "I'll wait a week and see".

Do you want to win fantasy or just have a comfortable season somehwhere in the top 20%.

Grow some god damn balls (Or ovaries?!), nobody ever won without taking some risk.

P.S I've also never finished higher than top 800 in fantasy.
