Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I saw on 100% Footy tonight that apparently Marzhew injured his wrist and is out for about 4 weeks, allegedly.

So how about this.
Who is everyone bringing in next week as I already own May/galvin?
Want to stay a step ahead
Was going to add the coffee cup emoji but I can’t handle all the thumbs down
Think I need an avatar change
Depends which high BE player is going to score 80+ this week. Scott Drinkwater? Hudson Young?... Kalyn Ponga?? REUBEN GARRICK???

Boozecluez wrote:Regarding Matt, not to drag this out but I think it’s a combination of things
Hidden so people can keep talking footy but there if you want to read it still
- TLDR :
Going all in on high risk options and building the narrative that the ideal outcome will be the only one.
Give it a brand name, weeks of pumping and no breaks action
Whether it’s rookies or outlier games, it needs to be shown that he is a step ahead and make known its his idea.
The downside is this also means popular players that gets in the way of this are talked down (upsetting most)
When the chips are almost all down it’s bringing down other players to lift him up after a low game or injury.
I think he means well and simply wants the respect of everyone here or some kind of vindication?
Weird given we are a bunch of teachers and accountants online but it’s probably that simple.
It’s how he goes about it is the polarising part
I defended him for years then clashed with him too.
Life’s too short for this bullshit, if he reads this just play your own game and don’t try and prove everything to everyone.
Shit I will even help you this year if you will take it
Offers there genuinely
Pffft, why are you offering your help like you're some sort of fantasy god... Who do you think you are, Contrasting Hobby or something?

Even after trades I still have Salmon and Chan in my 17, and when I look at it I do that thing when you vomit into your throat just a little, but it never reaches your mouth, so you have to swallow it back down, and then you have an itchy acidic taste in your throat and you need to go find a glass of water immediately. Really hoping Hughes is the replacement for Farmer so I can yeet at least one of them back into the 18-21, seems a bit fanciful when Curran replaced him in game though.

Everyone so busy watching Salmon + Curran that Mann has managed to slip in back to back 50s pretty much unnoticed.
Due to injuries we don't really know what Dogs interchange plan looks like, so I still don't trust him long term, perhaps to my detriment
It's a tough one. I know Gould always rated him. Not sure I want to pull the trigger on him, probably can watch another game or two and decide. Maybe.

Way harsh toke dude.
Yeah, he's annoying with his self-centred myopia, fine.
But the aggressive abuse jerks like you and Rabbits dish out is far worse. It stops people talking, kills discussions, prevents debate, stops fun.
Grow up and shut up, preferably not in that order.
Get off your 'woke' high horse. What abuse? A dig he deserves. You grow up, peanut. You wouldn't go around calling me a jerk to my face, so don't do it here.

How about all the Matt hate just stops. Enough people have made their point, I really have no idea what it’s all about, but his extended absence seems to indicate he has received your messages loud and clear. Page 51 can be a whole heap of Gifs of people bashing mats if you like. He’s not doing any harm -self praise is no praise at all, but let’s just live and live or better still try to stick to fantasy and try to figure out which 2 of our 4-5 must trades is the most important! I’m just waiting to hear 4PM today that Haas is out for a few weeks just to complicate matters even more!

Will be a WFB for me.
Depending on who the outs are the list is Teddy, Turbo, Marzhew, To'o, Campbell, Ravalawa, Montoya
Should probably be one of the good ones

Like him or hate him, Matt is an ice cold motherfucker who doesn’t care what anybody in here thinks. Dude has hung around this forum for years now copping extreme heat and arguing with ten posters at a time on any given topic without ever taking a backwards step. He might be shit at Fantasy, but he has the thickest skin in the biz.
Lmao - this brought a chuckle. Well played and spot on.
One thing for certain though, is that catching up on the forum is 10x easier when he's sulking in silence.

Just missed out on Kini & Luki -> Galvin and Terrell
Looks like Sitili is exciting earlier than expected to accommodate the trades.. really wanted to stick to the 3-date rule this year, as Egan Butcher showed us last year.
Hoping that a sneaky Angus on the bench makes the trade feel less premature.
