Liddle will be back. It’s annoying but don’t be reactionary.

Yeah thanks @mickspicks and @greenschist. Sound of reason

Just need to decide on Lussick or May this week then. With a lean towards May currently

My plan is to bring in Lussick next week. I'm in a similar boat to you as I dont have the cash to bring them both in. Lussick is less urgent as his price rise wont be as significant this week and he will still be somewhat affordable next week for a Sitili.

Yeah, definitely in a May vs Lussick scenario, May seems more urgent. If I had the cash I'd get Lussick over Finefuiaki this week, though.

But I'm probably the same. Will hope I can do something to get Lussick next week, but it won't be in one trade and I'm already getting a bit tense about the trades I'm burning through so early. Need to get the team right, but that Seyfarth thing last week will haunt me. So stupid when I think what else I could/should have done which would have had May in my team last week. Regrets.

Anyway, will see what happens. I'm still very unsure about this whole Haas thing. If it wasn't Payne Haas I'd just get rid of him this week and get May and Lussick. Will see how the week unfolds.

I went on this ride last year - he pumped out a 45, then a 20 something and then just dissappeared out of the squad entirely for 2 months. It was not fun

Below from the Canberra times, and apparently Horse is going to play Cup this week

The Canberra Raiders are boosted by the return of their captain, but there wasn't room for a State of Origin star in their bench reshuffle. Raiders coach Ricky Stuart named captain Elliott Whitehead (calf) for his first game of the season on Tuesday, forcing star recruit Zac Hosking to shift from the second row to the bench. It also sees Ata Mariota slip down to an extended bench, while there was no room for Corey Horsburgh - who was available after serving his four-game suspension.

If he averages 50 the next three weeks, he only goes up $38K

Doesn't seem like a buy (Even if he was playing this week) imo, but can see why people would, not for me though but ehhh

The 33 really dampens his money making but I believe he’s still a good bet to knock out 50’s when he’s back starting.
Not a buy. Not a sell. Just a solid hold.

Just easier to stuff around with your team with clear red/green dots
And not having injury symbols next to guys who were just named to play( Rapana)

They definitely seem to do everything in slow motion, compared to other similar formats.

Rush Whitehead back but not Horse?

Don't think that was on anyone's bingo cards

Might have gone missing in the off-season.

    Seems weird.

Hard to believe they can't find room for him as a prop given his form last year.

With sensible head on, Cotter is a better buy than May this week, right? Right?

We're selling Roosters forwards for a reason. May a total gun on the field but if he's not starting - and that'll be week to week, it always is with Roosters - could just as easily get 30 as 60 with Robbo and four guys who can play middle on the bench?

If he *was* starting, I'd go May for sure, but now...

I think Cotter and Curran are both better buys. Tossing up between the two.

As an old bloke I'm going to embrace it and call anything I don't agree with 'woke' and you should probably do the same, it's very liberating.

e.g. Some woke poster : 'I don't trust Robbo to give Terrell May enough minutes off the bench this week'
You : 'PIss off with your woke bullshit etc etc'
Thanks for that, and there’s me thinking Ricky’s benching of Hosking is f’ing stupid but it’s now woke!

Just realised that I can go Wong and Luki to TeMay and Lussick with not much to spare

Means snoozing on Galvin for another week but.....it does add some respectability to a pretty ropey looking interchange bench this week (I'm backing Lussick to score more that Galvin this round)

By my, admittedly half arsed, calcs both Lussick and Galvin will go up by more or less the same if they score 45 & 35 respectively.

Have plenty of options to swap for Galvin next week....anyone want to venture any thoughts against this plan of attack?

But actually he's not even named in Cup either...

People on Raiders forum just as baffled, some reckon the Raiders don't realise he's available haha but I refuse to believe that's possible. It's all very very strange.

Heres a fun question... Which one sits in the reserves this week between Strange, Burbo, Kiraz, and Kini.

Leaning towards Kiraz which doesnt seem right given hes 300k+ more expensive than the other 3.

My thoughts are I'm extremely jealous and I wish I could do the same this week. but someone thought it was smart to start with 9k ITB to start the year.
