    Cleary, Hunt
    Burbo, Strange
    Ponga, Pappy, Turbo

    Lussick, Fainu, Salmon, Galvin
    Hughes, Levi, Hutch and Cotric

    With 75k in the Bank.

Fingers crossed for 2 weeks of no injuries and I can sit on what I have and make a little bit of cash.
I think Fainu only got the minutes because Bareman had to moge to the centres when we lost our centre to injury. Pole will probably get the lock spot so not sure where the minutes come from for Fainu.

The holy grail for the Budgers is a top 1000 finish.

I’ve been going since 2011 with typically similar results. I finally cracked the top 1000 a few years back with a magnificent finish of 999th, I’m unlikely to reach those lofty heights again anytime soon!

Team list screwed me a bit my current full strength team looks like this hynes and cleary will be brought in after their byes.

    Mahoney
    Haas Murray may
    Hosking piakura
    Fog galvin
    Kiraz jurbo
    Paps rapana kris

    Lussick liddle sitili salmon

    Strange kini Hughes chan

343k it for clearly and hynes will probably ditch hosking and a Hooker for them

Who would be best to trade out - Hutch or Flanagan?

Hutchison was hard to watch in the weekend so leaning towards trading him but has been known to go large.

imo, aside from equally underwhelming scoring, Flanno has marginally better job security (drives the coach to training etc) while Hutch may be one more Bulldogs loss from being out of the team.

Yea true can see Toby Sexton taking his spot sooner rather than later. Having Cleary, Galvin, Flanagan and Hutch one has to go. See ya Hutch.

Hutch is getting a forced stay of execution this week, but if he can't do it against the Titans he is dead to me next week

Where I see people fall apart is trying to get the shiny new toy every week/burning trades on marginal cash makers when they aren't needed
If all your cows are making cash and a new one comes along that will make the same amount of cash at the same speed you probably don't need to make that trade
Example is Chan. He is in most teams, most of us aren't happy about it, but he is a starting edge and will probably average mid 30s all the way to 400-450k. If Mikaele is named next week and comes out with a 30 minute stint but scores a try he will be a popular trade in. It may not make sense for your team if you already have a high 20s low 30s scorer filling that role.

Also if Nats playing over Wong does that not open up 2 interchange uses since Nat plays 80 generally? Could open up a window to give May less minutes?

I think with May you need to consider the upside risk and the downside risk

Upside risk is you are getting a cut price keeper for 574k.

Downside risk he probably averages low 40s, which is about where where he is priced. This is still a very playable score and byes are favourable to hold right up until round 19

Cut priced keepers are the guys that you cannot miss or it will be very costly. If everyone else pays 600k for a final 17 player where you have to pay 800k that takes a few trades and some great cash gen to make up for. I'd be surprised if any team that missed SJ last year ended up anywhere near the top 1000

I feel like the upside risk is well worth possibly burning 2 trades on the downside risk

Who could've imagined the buy of the week being a $574k bench middle?
The Pascoe Fiasco wrote:A fool and his money are soon parted! Why would anyone assume anything with Robbo, especially even considering betting on it! At the end of the day none of us have any idea what Robbo will do. Either trade him in or don’t, it as easy as that. Whether May starts or doesn’t start really doesn’t matter. He’s scoring the same as Haas at 300k less so just trade him in! It isn’t rocket surgery folks!

    Speaking of rocket surgery...
I wasn't expecting to be taken quite so literally, but hey, looks like MTB and I managed to predict a Robbo move

Now we just need to predict bench rotations... um pass
But yes, TerMaynator is still a buy imo

All this is not to say May is a must have. But you better be right if you disagree. If you don't get him and he keeps averaging mid 50s it probably costs your season

    Just had a quick look at Cleary's last 5 games against the Broncos;

    95, 106, 61, 93, 124

for a 95.8 average - yes, I'd like to place a repeat order for some more thanks

    Curran
    Mann
    RTS
Robson (missed you already had him)
    Turbo
