Hope not. Managed to avoid Talagi as thought this would happen. I say this while highly likely to get Iro. I didn't have Kini either

People that went Kini and Talagi must be a bit shy about Iro

I am expecting Seyfarth to start on the edge, then kepoaoa comes on and he moves to the middle. Should get good minutes and decent scoring.

At full strength tigers bench seems to be Twal, Seyfarth, fainu and a half/hok. Seyfarth won't score so well then. Seems to be getting 30-40 minutes if no other team disruptions.

The interesting thing for me has been klemmer minutes have been really low. Bringing in Stefano this week. Seems set for 50-60+ minutes for 50-60+scoring as the new alpha mid in that pack.

Be wary of tigers minutes last week. Benji wanted to get Klemmer back on but couldnt due to fucking up the interchanges with the HIAs.@Loomer Benji seems to love Seyfarth and to Seyfarths credit hes had a great start to the season other than the Canberra game. I think hes been way below par previous seasons. He should get that 30-40 minutes when full strength and like this week fill in as a starter from time to time if he keeps this form up. Not the most talented guy but playing with plenty of passion so far and the  tigers dont have a lot of depth in the forwards, the roster gets skinny pretty quick. Scores so far boosted by a couple of tries but can be a hot head so expect that to be negated by the odd bin.

Edit . Easytiger too quick for me

As a Cleary owner, am I foolish to pretend that recent bit of "info" doesn't even exist?

Panthers seem to like being dickheads around the information they put out there and it's such a pointless thing to put out I assume it's safe to ignore?

It's always grain of salt stuff.

Just like when Ivan was pressed on whether Cleary would play round 5 and said "if he's fit, he'll play"...

Klemmer is looking like a 45 minute role (compared to 50 minutes last year).
I wouldn't read much into last weeks minutes, the Tigers ran out of substitutions due to HIA shuffles and Koroisau's injury, so were unable to bring Klem back for a second spell

Reading less into last week's minutes and scoring and more into Stefano's only game <52 minutes and < 53 fantasy scoring, was when he was sin binned. Seems to have a really consistent role, in great form, with attacking upside and great base.

We saw at the end of 2021 what he is capable of when in a big minute role, when he was the leader of the forwards, with more senior players missing. Seems he has finally realised that he is their top dog and stepping up to play like it.

Tigers are a better team this season and eventually he is going to crash over for a few tries and go huge.

I’m very tempted to sell to Hynes now.

If it was Kev Walters he'd be putting him back out there and no doubt would cause greater damage to his not-yet-healed hammy.

I was surprised when the initial report suggested he'd be back within 2 weeks. Better to be extra cautious with it.

I think so too, following Drinkwater around.....I just don't have the extra dosh to stretch that far this week. Maybe he can come in for Kiraz at some point.

My thinking now too. Might be out for Kiraz next week to allow Hutch to turn in to a usable Mid

Looks like we’ve come full circle trade wise. With the Cleary news looks like Hynes comes in.

    Sitili > Siro
    Rapana > Hynes

Keep Cleary around and hope he returns but hopefully the team doesn’t suffer as a whole

I don't know how to vote because if Ponga (who is my preferred option) plays Origin I'd just hold Teddy, but if you want a non-Origin replacement, I guess Drinkwater is the answer. They probably score pretty similar anyway.

As a non-Teddy owner, I personally wouldn't be trading out Teddy.

I held him this long I'm holding until Tuesday. He was always missing this week so nothing has really changed with my trade plans.

Plus I can get both my trade in targets without moving Cleary on

I do already own Hynes though

There's still nothing to say he won't play next week. Just because it's going slightly behind schedule, it doesn't mean it won't respond and he'll be ready by next week. Having no set backs is still a good sign.

The way people were talking about Iro I assumed he was an 18-20 year old rookie coming through with big wraps.

Just looked him up and he's...24? Is there a reason he hasn't already broken through if he's as talented and hyped as is being made out?
