upside: holds onto starting edge spot, 430k, scores well for a while. he looks to have a future in the nrl, passes eye test.
risk: he's young, benji shuffles the lineup again, bateman at 13 doesnt work out, mins fluctuate, wasnt worth a trade, etc

It occured to me I could punt Salmon to S Fainu right after I posted it. There's a chance Lussick can resume 40+ scoring, and Salmon shelf life has probably expired anyway.

Team looking like this after trades. Hoping I can stop now.

    Cheese
    Tohu, AFB, May
    KPP, Angus
    Cleary, Hughes
    Best, Iro
    Turbo, Papy, Gutho

    Cotter, Galvin, Strange, Piakura
    Chan, Kris, Stewart, Hughes

    Trades were Fog/Lussick/Salmon to AFB/Hughes/Piakura.
Feel like those are definitely guys that can safely be moved on now and all the guys that come in are upgrades and fit into the team well. 2 guns and a cow you could say is Fantasy 101.

    Thoughts or changes?

Hughes could become Plath instead to get that pesky Round 13 MID/HLF number under control and then move him out in 14 if needed

Probably should have looked at the team list before asking the question about him.  Yeah, fair play then if Bateman stays at lock.  Pole probably better off the bench for a shorter stint anyway.

BE is not terrible to have a look this week and see if he cements the spot.

Cobbo at CTR is a great example of how Latrell at CTR could work well. They get the ball to him a lot and he comes looking for it early in the set. Both have similar playing styles. It still works for fantasy too

Mitchell purposefully going and looking for tough carries?

Are we talking about Latrell or Shaq here?

Speaking oh Shaq - he is starting for Tatola who is out for 12 weeks.

Seems like a good shout no?

Yeah it’s a tough one. I like Hughes and he seems to be doing more work with Munster not at 100%.

I’m sure neither is a bad decision

Ando wrote:I don't understand it either, Nicho has a very good running game shown in his first few years playing Full Back for the Storm and can play off the cuff footy on either side of the field.

To be honest I think this year with no Freddy they will run them both, as a QLDer I'm hoping for Cleary/Luai combo.

I think the idea has been do whatever makes Cleary the most comfortable since he is the best player in the world.

Right or wrong that has meant giving him his preferred halves partner in Luai, Koroisau starting over Cook and Yeo over Murray

There is absolutely no reason Cleary and Hynes can't mirror JT/Cronk pairing with 2 dominant halves

I think NSW's best bet is to pick either Moses or Hynes at 7 (and maybe in a few years time Ikat could do this) and play them as a first receiver, with Cleary running wider on both sides like he did in the GF last year. We saw in that game how good Cleary can be at second receiver and it'd also mean two genuine kicking options
