My post a sarcastic jab at Payten but yes for some reason the broncos signed him after massive numbers like not even making 10m in 3 of his 5 games this year.

    Massive impact

More likely to be a Roosters player binned even if not assigned to that game

    A few thoughts Teeth

    Teeth Eater wrote:
Fainu - I like him and had him in my auto-fill team before stupidly trading him out after his HIA. Are we trusting Benji, though, to stick to this with any permanency?

Permanency as starting edge - not guaranteed.
But Fainu is playing well and will certainly looks like he'll have a decent role of some sort in the 17. whether that means fantasy value or not is hard to say, but there is potential there.

Moale - I'd love a MID, but is he actually starting? Likely not to be what he has been every other time so far?

Is JD getting sacked or not? You almost want his future to be settled before committing to any Souths players in case a potential new coach comes in and changes things again

Mikaele - bloody hell, I did scan team lists last night but completely missed this. In for some decent minutes?

Is he taking Gosiewski's role? if so, that's about 20 minutes a week.
Even then he's a journeyman bench prop who has taken 8 weeks to get a run - I don't think he screams must have fantasy player

Sele - did hear some chat of him after last weekend. Starting looks nice, but Lawrie and De Belin big minute players. Will there be enough for Sele?

Sele has started prop plenty of times in his career, and I wouldn't get too excited about it. Wouldn't even be surprised if it changed on game day with Lawrie or JDB starting[/quote]

If the broncos have signed him i think its probably just because we have one injury to a starting edge and we are stuck playing jayden hunt. Both would be basically min wage ? Id have gos over hunt. Someones gotta fill those last few spots on the roster

Weekes' past scores are so depressing. I'd rather play 16 than waste a trade on him

Yeah his stats don't look great, but most games were at FB or of the interchange, with only one 80min game at 5/8 against the Panthers
so him playing 80mins at 5/8 going forward may not be as bad

I have no doubt that Loomer is fair dinkum. But I gotta say it would be a pretty funny ruse if he was making it up this whole time about his pub connection Razz

iirc he was so bad in that game that they hid him on the wing for the second half and dropped him the week after.

I’m leaning Atkinson now. Don’t think Trindall is back before the court case and Hynes likely to play origin.

I've umm'd and ahh'd and can't make a decision re: Hynes. Feel I should wait a week on trade decisions re: Smithies, Koro. So? Seyfarth > iKat. Just one trade.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. In a nutshell, looks like this is kind of matching my thought process that Fainu is the only interesting one out of this batch. Actually traded Fainu in for this week as it stands. I want Bateman, but he shouldn't get away too quick... I hope.

Currently leaning towards Fainu and Fuller... which has nothing at all to do with Booze's post about his trades.

Like if Loomer had called his back deck ‘the pub’ and his cat was called ‘Richard the assistant’

Richard always gives him the wah’s good oil after a couple of beers too many

Or there’s a high probability he’ll be following the Tricky Trindall route next Monday morning (the nose test????)

I can't believe people are still considering trading him in after seeing this.
