    No worries mate.
    Sounds like a shit-show you're dealing with.
I hope this little corner of the internet can offer you a safe place to think about the footy and get a couple of laughs then.

Anyone holding May? Might start this week and Collins to origin soon?

Or is he a must flick?

    Hi Syn,

I just wanted to log in to offer my support of Pookus quality post above and to yourself, even though you have historically shown yourself to be a rather bias Brisbane supporter.

I'm sure you're not the only person in here to have experienced those things and you aren't alone. As Pookus rightfully pointed out bad luck is part of the game and some just cop it worse for whatever reason. I personally go back 15 years to the original KOD brothers in sportal that few here will remember, and my luck hasn't improved for a single season in this game, and yet again in 2024 I'd challenge anyone to find an injury/HIA list that reads worse then mine. burning trades like a burning brothel and cant move my team forward just trying to get 17 on park each week.

You clearly love footy and the nrl mate and is one of the good things in your life worth living for, that's one thing we all share. I think you need to assess if this is affecting your love of footy in general and potentially have a break and just watch and love the games (the footy is great at the moment, storm on top, bunnies at the bottom where they respectively belong). Your broncos are also a big premiership threat! Otherwise try to view it for what it is, primarily a lucky dip that even the biggest fans with the best knowledge of the game can just dip out on due stupid injuries/hia's, unpredictability with who dives on loose balls for tries etc. I've seen some of the winners of this game historically and with all due respect some probably couldn't coach an under 6 team; they probably just went the season with barely an injury disruption which is still the primary factor in success at this. So don't take it as a failure of yours, it's not.

Whatever you decide, reduce that which causes you angst particularly if that cuts into what you do enjoy, and I'm sure everyone here just wants you to be well and to enjoy the greatest game of all.

rise up, all the best, the original one and only yanjarra

Edge players tend to score better against the Roosters this season. I'm leaving him out of my 17 but worried that this is the weekend he dots down for a 50+ score and I miss out on it.

Thoughts on who you'd captain out of Grant or Tohu? Pray for some attacking stats from Grant vs the Titans?

Or, is the fact that those are my options an indication that it's time to bite the bullet and trade Cleary?

Could do Cleary, May, Chester to Hynes, Garrick, Armstrong which seems reasonable. Otherwise I'm pretty happy just doing May to Garrick, so it's whether those two others are worth it.

Really don't like burning through three trades a week.

I think I’ve decided to wait until Dogs update their team tomorrow. Don’t want to get rid of Salmon, but if it’s not looking good for him, and May is named to start, I might punt Salmon instead of May. Maybe. Still very undecided, to be honest, and the decision needeth not be locked in tonight.
