If scans confirm - return to play would often be 4-6 weeks, but extra considerations. Location of damage (tendon?) has healing implications + Turbo’s history of hamstring issues influences rehab approach.

Koula scores worse than Garrick by a long way, only a long term unforeseen injury to Turbo changed his prospects.

The past few weeks Turbo has looked super lame. When they played the wahs I still clearly remember him holding his lower back in pain and then adjusting his stride. In fact, he just stopped playing really. Since then, he'd randomly pop up for like 30 minutes a game and then disappear. I'm almost certain he was managing some type of injury which has resulted in the hammy tonight.

Also, my starting FBs have now all been injured. Hammer, Pappy and now Turbo. Talk about a roulette!

If Turbo is just 4 weeks, and Koula is named at fullback, you would get 5 games the next few weeks at fullback, with Turbo out for Origin 2 and 3 (and a chance to injure himself again like he did last season).

Smith on ch9 in the sheds talking to a very fine and alert Plath asking about the match up next week. Maybe 9 was wrong? Did fox say anything?

If the Blues win Origin One without Turbo, why would he play Origin 2? (Obv, if they lose then they could do any old dumb shit)

Is Lussick -> Matto too sideways? Not really interested in keeping Lussick around with Hands on the bench.

Have 758k in the bank when trading Lussick out but for some reason can't really seem to pick a player in that price range for my h2h team as most of the big guns are injured

Well Ando can tell me the lotto winning numbers and make me rich now he predicted before the game this would happen to Turbo (I don’t own Turbo).

I did get Aitken though I was standing and applauding when he went streaking away for the try. I did go Waddell to Aitken though but that’s ok Aitken a keeper Waddell isn’t.

I think Lussick to absolutely anyone is an upgrade

Long story short is that your sciatic nerve in your back gives sensation to your hamstring and tightness through your lower back and hips causing even slight compression of the sciatic nerve can cause higher tone and tightness in your hamstring and increase risk of hammy tears

Obviously never assessed turbo myself but I’ve thought this might be a factor for years. Does seem on the surface like poor management of turbo the last month considering his history

That knock Plath took was pretty solid. Hopefully they rest him next week.

Just checked if major updates. Fuller and Aitken were on 48 and 45 at HT from memory so both ending on 61 a bit underwhelming for owners. I own neither
