If Turbo is just 4 weeks, and Koula is named at fullback, you would get 5 games the next few weeks at fullback, with Turbo out for Origin 2 and 3 (and a chance to injure himself again like he did last season).

Yeh that's all good, more so the point that we didn't know this going Into last night.

Next week I’m going to be running Armstrong/Faalogo/Weekes/Koula

    What an absolute assortment

Edit: Even Chevy if he somehow makes a return

If I didn’t need a WFB this week to field 17 I’d probably just hold off on Faalogo and grab Koula/Weekes and run them.

    Surely I don’t play 16 intentionally?

    Completely agree.

I know it can be neck and neck for some positions, but when a standout doesn't or can't make it because of team structure or incumbency, possibly for a whole career, it sux.

Kind of similar to the Dylan Edwards situation - Matt Ballin was stuck behind probably the greatest player of all time and would have played 10 origins in a different era. Sometimes your timing is just wrong

Pretty much any that can average 40+ imo.

They will all have ups and downs. May and Penisini currently the cheapest of the 40+ crew imo

    Does Best play origin?

I hadn’t even thought about that?

I would have been picking Best and Crichton as CTRs since Latrell suspension so Turbo injury only nails it more

Never be underwhelmed by a 61 from a CTR or a QLD Cup player.

For the cost of a trade I’m thinking of doing exactly this.

I’m chasing though from high 5 figure rank so Teddy for 3 weeks move remains the more likely and aggressive play

Bit like Farah never really getting a run for Australia

I think Iro makes Aitken a little redundant unless you have a bunch of spare trades/cash

Garrick less consistent but likely to average pretty close for 100k less (150k if you got on 2 weeks ago)

May way less consistent but should average within 5 points for 170k less

Would be a luxury upgrade for me

Sub 500k for a 45+ average second rower though is an easy buy for me

Waddell owners might be saved by the 50/50 with Burbo on Olakau’atu return with Saab/Turbo injuries

Imagine back 5 will be Garrick/Koula, Talau, Garrick/Koula, Burbo, Vaega

Matto vs Fainu is my big decision now that Hands is on the bench. Obviously Carty to come back but we've seen Matto score well off the bench before and is a gun at 2rf. Fainu is prob a solid 40 point scorer, but Benji is quick to change this up. Getting Matto would mean using an extra trade and jumping off Piakura early

Reckon it's a possibility Burbo remains at CTR with Garrick wing ?

I was thinking that, happy to hold Waddell in the EMG if that's how they line up next week

I was eyeing up a Strange to Koula trade in rd 14 but looks like the Koula train could potentially be leaving early

Yeah can’t really say no to Koula and Weekes next week.

Koula should get plenty of time back there with Tommy’s injury history?
