If Best is out, plus Walsh, plus Stewart I'll be short a wfb/cen. Cleary out compounds that, I need a half because I have to play Weekes at WFB.

Current trades are Cleary, Bateman, Wadell to Fifita, Grant, Walker. I could bring in Koula instead of Grant but then I'm playing Piakura at 17. I reckon Grant and red dot could score as well as Koula and Piakura probably.

Anyway, hopefully Best plays. Allows me to make the trades I want and hopefully get another price rise before potentially jumping off.

24hr cut for the Knights at 3pm today, so we should get a bit more info by then

It’s crazy how a few decision can make your season. Getting rid of smithies a couple weeks too early, keeping Cleary through injury number 1, trading in talagi for one game, etc.

Hitting the wall with the desire to keep playing this year.

Already planning a new strategy for next year.

Keeping Cleary was the one absolutely decided the season, no question.

    But, hey. Chin up!

I just looked at my round 1 team Shocked
If I lined up with those lads I would be able to field 11 green dots with 7 injured players and 3 not selected

Sounds confident in Hynes. Sounds like Atkinson might be ahead of Trindall too currently. If Hynes is fit, Hynes/Atkinson combo.

Funny, a couple of people on the Sharks forum took way from this that Nicho won't be playing and Trindall will come in. I didn't quite get that.

Also talks about Atkinson's versatility, can play 6,7,1,13,9.

I'm with you, sounds like Hynes is more likely than not.

Will be an interesting bench, you'd think they'd want halves cover in case Hynes doesn't get through the game, but also have Talakai on the bench.

tend to agree though, fitz comments are meaningless really, they haven't had the captains run at time of recording. sharks rarely give anything away. just like ivan said things like 'cleary will play this week if he's fit' and then missed a month.

soft tissue injury don't they usually want a full week of full training before returning to play? Nico hasnt had that.

He definitely perked up when he started talking about Atkinson, seems to be a fan which is good.

I don't think they'll run Trindall on the bench. McInnes can play big minutes if Talakai was needed elsewhere. Their makeup worked last week so don't see them changing. But I'm sure if Hynes wasn't right, they wouldn't risk him. Would kinda like to know before 6pm though...........

I did think that in regards to the time of recording. Although, I do agree, it would be risky AF to run him out there regardless but we only know what we're told and yeah, like all coaches gotta take it with a grain of salt.

there are a few that are better than others.. eg Kevy just can't lie. but the sharks are pretty good at being vague at the best of times.

gut feel is atkinson and trindall this week but they want to keep trindalls return as low key/under the radar as possible. 'its all about nico'

Cut to 19 is at 5:30pm, no guarantees though. Even if all 3 halves are named in the 19, doesn't mean Hynes will play. Will only have certainty if he is out for sure.
